Just picked up a nice, clean 90mm Angulon in copal #0 shutter. I plan on using it with my Wista VX and slider back for 6x9 roll film. It hasn't got a lot of coverage for 4x5 but should have plenty for 6x9 and 6x7 and the small size is an advantage too.

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Did you know the regular Angulon was also triple-convertible?
Neither did I until I read this (page 9). So a 90/6.8 is also a 140mm and 185mm using just single-cells.
(and it will cover 4x5 at smaller apertures, but with bugger-all movements).

The postman just turned up with a nice clean copy of Farber's Historic Photographic Processes for me.

RB67 motor back and power pack complete in boxes like new cept missing the plastic box (for the) and 220 pressure plate.

Foam needs replacing.

Nice!
An Olympus OM10 and a T20 flash to join a beautiful OM2N +50mm f/1.8 + 28mm f/2.8.

I'm not perfectly sure the deal will go through, but ... Linhof Super Rollex w/6x9 gate to fit a 4x5 Graflok/international back.

A Pentax KX recently CLA'd by Eric Hendrickson, the Pentax man in the US. In really nice condition, only a few scuffs on the bottom plate, and recovered in BLUE leatherette! A gem! It has everything the K 1000 should have had: DOF, mirror lock-up, f stop judas window, meter switch.

Seriously? Wow those are crazy. Do you have a crane to move it?

I have strong friends  moved it in last night, check out my condenser lens!

Keep in mind it was 2am when I got it home so I'm a little disheveled and crazy looking, exhaustion and excitement and all of that...

Just need either a color head, or to fix the broken cold head, or use the normal head but I still need multi grade filters which are expensive.

Supplies for carbon printing.

Stone, when your mother consented to a darkroom, did she realize you might get something so large?

Nope, but I will make a sink at the end she can use for washing garden tools, so she will be happy.

The under lens filters will work fine if the lens barrel isn't too big for the holder.

Just bought a Nikon F2 Photomic and a Nikkor-S 50mm F=1.4 non ai lens from KEH this morning. It'll be here tomorrow because I'm impatient and need overnight shipping.

I don't see how, they are easily scratched up pieces of plastic, they aren't actually glass just gelatin type pieces of plastic :/

Anyway other item, mounting press

(Under board is drying from a thorough cleaning).

If you could pick up a used Aristo VCL8100 head, Louise Kessler at LCD Lighting can fix you up with a brand new set of variable contrast fluorescent grid lamps. Then you wouldn't need to mess with filters. That's my setup, but only in 4x5.

Is this thing in full working order? Or will it need some TLC maintenance before you can try it out?

Congrats!

Ken

Stone:

APUG is full of people who have obtained top quality results for years using under lens contrast filters.

I used them for about 30 years before switching to a dichroic head.

I still use them from time to time when the highest contrast is needed.

In the low flare environment of an enlarger's light path, even physically damaged contrast filters work fine.

Just be sure to get new ones - they fade and change colour over time.

I bought the kit primarily to get my hands on some small trays cheaply for a batch of 6x9 contact prints I was doing for someone and for the little contact frame (which I wound up not using). Unfortunately or fortunately, it all cleaned up so nicely that I'm turning into a damn collector and am hankering for that one missing Kodak Junior Film Clip to complete the kit.

That's great. What size film aprons came with it?

If you have a 616/116 apron and would like a 120 or 35mm apron instead, or if you just need a 120 or 35mm apron, send me a pm.

That is awesome, Molli!

And I also notice the beautiful old microscope on the counter in the background. What a Renaissance gal...
