Gossen Lunasix F with Tele adaptor plus 2 x Vivitar 285HV flashes from an APUG member. I already had a Profisix but wanted the Lunasix F for flash metering, (Profiflash accessory are like hens teeth in OZ). Remarkably, the Profisix and Lunasix F meter to within a third stop of each other. Not bad for 30+ yo meters.

I need to find some very simple wireless triggers for the flashes. A quick look around indicated that most modern flash triggers are overkill for my needs - E-TTL compatability with current DSLR's etc. I just want to fire the flashes. I'll take care of exposure metering. Any suggestions out there?

Yes, it's one I've owned recently. No, it won't be sold off again.

*edit* forgot to mention that I also picked up a charger and a couple batteries for the 500EL/M. Took it over to Camera Clinic and had them attach their external battery pack to the camera. It works.

PocketWizard PlusX. That's what I use. They work well and have no extra bells and whistles. They're not really cheap, though.

Run away from YongNuo. A friend of mine wasted his money on a couple of these and regrets badly.

Cheers,

Nice 85/1.8 lens and a great looking F (I notice the newer style self-timer).

Oh... and a Volvo 240 series... I'd recognize that anywhere. I wonder if they still give out high-mileage plaques.

A couple more Hewes 120 spools and a Carl Zeiss Tessar 50mm F/2.8 in M42 mount for my Chinon CS.

Thanks, yeah, it's a 7405xxx serial F.

You can get the high mileage club badges, but they're now "Heritage Club" badges that go on the trunk or the tailgate of the car, instead of the grille. The car is a '92 245... One of three 240's we own. The other two are turbo models. A 1982 242 Turbo and a 1984.5 245 Turbo.

Anyway, picked up a focusing screen and a body cap for the 500EL/M. Probably going to return the charger and the batteries to Camera Clinic, then pick up one of the Fotodiox CR-P2 battery adapters. That way, I don't have to use the NiCad batteries anymore.

A waterproof anti static dust cover for my film scanner, because I don't use it often and I'm sick of dusting it.

Just today a Nikon F3HP with an MD-4 motor drive and 35-200mm lens.

It will be delivered tomorrow.

And several Nikon L37C UV filters. Get 'em while you can.

A Leica R8. They sell for ridiculously low prices.

The R8 is an awesome camera, i have 2 and shoot it loads.

The really cool R glass does get expensive, although not as bad as M.

True. Luckily the 5 R lenses I purchased in the last 10 years is all I need in 35mm.
German-made zooms and APO lenses are out of my reach.

I love the R8's clever program mode. Nice viewfinder, too.

The viewfinder is a bit more then 'nice' i would say

Combined with the 80mm f/1.4 its one of the best combinations in 35mm!

A Nikon 25-50 f4 aiS. Awaiting delivery. :D

A rara avis among Nikon lenses. Physically beautiful. I saw one last year but did not buy it because I own its predecessor, the 28-45/4.5 AI.

Simply the best viewfinder experience! I don't have the 80mm Summilux but a 90mm f/2 Summicron.

Two more lenses for my OM2n: the 135/2.8 (with built-in extendable hood) and 85/2:

My other OM lenses are 28/2, 50/1.4, and 100/2.8. I've heard the 100/2 is exceptional, but I'm unlikely to find one (I don't use eBay), so I decided to get the 100/2.8 that was available at the moment and enjoy it.
