Three shutters over the last week. An Alphax #4 synchro, Acme synchro #4 and Acme synchro #3. They have lenses in them of course but I'm mostly interested in the shutters for some of the barrel lenses I have.

just backed the FLM Indiegogo campaign for their new travel tripod. Looks like it will be a sweet tripod. I've been flying more frequently and need a tripod that will fit in my carry on.

A couple V76PX batteries and a roll of Ektar 100. May be replacing my 50/1.8 Series E with an AI long-nose version this weekend, just so I have another manual lens with a prong to counteract the AF/AF-D Nikkors.

Okay, I probably have completed my Nikon S2 outfit, other than miscellaneous gubbins. I just received a NEW 21mm Voigtlander, and a used but in really nice condition 105 f2.5 with hood and perhaps original front lens cover. I now have the 21mm, the Voigtlander f2.5 35mm, the 50mm f1.4, the Nikkor 105mm, and the Nikkor 135mm. Plus the Varifocal viewfinder so I can see what I'm doing.

A double-sided fishing fly box from Cabela's -- to rework into a Bay 1 accessory case for my Yashica Mat 124G.
(There's a green and a set of +1 diopters in the back.)

After figuring out the concept, finding the appropriate container was way harder than I expected (and because of the rounded corners, the overall size is larger than it needs to be -- hmm -- maybe I need to explore 3-D printing!)

Went to the local REI Garage Sale this morning hoping to find a bargain. Boy, did I ever!

Was looking for a larger tent than my Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 2, which I use for backpacking. Wanted something more suitable for truck camping. Lots of space, and tall enough for me to at least stand up and put my pants on in the morning.

Found an REI Camp Dome 4. Reg. 200 clams, at the Sale for $80.83.

Tag said reason for returning was "did not meet needs". I laid it out and did a cursory exam and didn't find anything major. So I took a chance.

Just got done setting it up in the back yard, rain fly and all.

Other than a few light scuffs one would expect from a used item, it's in perfect shape. No rips or tears, the zippers all work smooth as silk, no missing parts.

Yeah, I know.... you're thinking this ain't 'photography' related. It is to me..... when I go camping, I always go to shoot something.

Time to do my Happy Dance!

I have a zoom finder coming to use with my Travelwide - it gives you the equivalent fields of view of anything between a 58mm and a 150 for 4x5. That'll do nicely for not only the pinhole but any lens I would want to mount on the Travelwide's helical focus unit. I've read that 75mm lenses in some cases will work in that focusing mount, and of course 90-100mm lenses work too. I've got a 100mm Zeiss Tessar in Copal 0 I'd be willing to give a try with it - from the looks of mounting it on my Sinar, the little Tessar covers 4x5 even wide open, and since the Travelwide has no movements, any limits to the image circle are not really a concern.

I did replace the Series E 50/1.8 with the long-nose AI version. Strangely enough, got paid $35 for the E, which made the long-nose only $14.50, plus tax.

A Vermeer 6x17 curved plane pinhole camera. I have lots of 120 to shoot.

Skorpiius, sorry to hear that. Or is it that you now have everything you will ever need... ?

I'm finding I'm spending more time shopping than shooting, so I'm trying to be on a shopping hiatus. For now...
