I think the later AF-D's no longer have that.

Most of them did. They didn't drill them, but did provide dimples in the aperture ring to show where the rabbit ears needed to go. I'm probably going to leave this early AF 50/1.4 stock. I have a 50/2 AI and a 55/1.2 AI, plus a factory AI'd 55/3.5 to cover the normal range on the F and the Nikomat bodies. All of them are still with rabbit ears, the 55/3.5 with its original solid ears with the line in the middle of the mounting flange.

Anyway, picked up a MF-16 for my FM2n. $10 shipped from Roberts Camera.

... and this, a 100mm f/2.5 MC Tele Rokkor-PF for my SRT-101's:

The ribbed focusing ring indicates this is the first version of this lens; the following versions had scalloped, and then a rubberized knurl pattern.

This one's a bit more weather-beaten than what I usually buy, but the optics were clear and operation was smooth. I probably overpaid, but Minolta MC/MD and Alpha mount AF lenses are being snatched up by digit*l users - so they're becoming less common and prices are rising.

A "Bug-O" and a Bee-O" (seriously) soft shutter release for two of my Leicas. Items were purchased from Camtec Photo, in Montreal (http://www.camtecphoto.com/en). I would suggest that my fellow Leica users (in North America) might want to take a look-see at what the store has to offer. Prices are quite reasonable for Canada; bear in mind that they are quoted in Canadian dollars (aka Northern Pesos).

Not purchases, gifts. Last Friday I was given 85/6.8 and 160/10 Boyer Beryls. The 160 is a very odd lens indeed. It appears to be a prototype that never got to production. Fixed aperture, barrel length doesn't match known shutters' tube lengths and the barrel has no diaphragm.

Two 25 sheet packs of Harman Direct Positive RC paper, £25 ($33 approx) about a third list price, a 480mm f9 Apo Ronar stops down to f256 -£30 ($39 approx), and two books each with a years issues of "The Camera " 1931-3 an publication I'd not seen before.

Harmon Titan 8x10 pinhole camera, plus a 2 boxes of Carestream Ektascan B/RA single emulsion film to play around with. Just processed some 4x5 film from my Titan 4x5, which turned out nice, really looking forward to shooting with the 8x10 Titan. Hopefully it will arrive by the end of the week.

I shoot mostly colour but have been shooting documentary work in B&W a lot recently and after going through a variety of stocks i found that Tri-X it just *perfect* for the aesthetic i want to archieve.

The downside is when i realized that i now shoot the exact same Camera/Lens/Film/Developer combination as one of my favourite photographers...(Anton Corbijn). So much for being influenced.. :-D

Got a MD-12 for the FM2n - $19.75 shipped. Now that body's complete, except for a strap (need to get another 1.5" wide Domke Gripper to put on the F2AS, then I can move the rare "Emerald Edition" Gripper to the FM2n) and eventually a K3 focusing screen from an FM3a.

Also picked up a RRS B-F5L L-bracket for the F5. Suspect it was the one that KEH was selling for $40. Wound up paying $74.50 shipped for it. Oh well. At least I have one for the '5 now.

It is a wonderful film.
I have been very happy with it in the past and am thrilled to have found it again.
