what waS your last photography related purchase?

Cosina /Cosinon-W 24mm K-mount. £4 in an antiques shop.
Only bought it two days ago, so no results yet, but many positive experiences on the Interweb.

I HAD to buy a Yashica Samurai Half-Frame camera...thing.
After seeing one it was love at first sight. That thing is so ugly, weird and literarily oozes "early 90s" - I simply could not resist having one.

And 72 exposures on a single film - take this, you cheaply made, digital, soulless plastics!
The Yashica Samurai took shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot long before it was cool!

- a Lee diffusion filter for my condenser enlarger
- a book on infrared photography (film-based)
- a book on bromoil printing

@Don Promillo: sounds like fun Loved this: "That thing is so ugly, weird and literarily oozes "early 90s" - I simply could not resist having one." LOL!

Hot shoe bubble level. I can't hold the Mamiya 7 level to save my life.

I agree. The hard part is bringing myself to use them. When I do, it tends to make converts out of the uninitiated. Then there are that many more people chasing my precious.

I did it again:
I've supported current film camera production.
I've bought another (my second) brand spanking new (fresh from the factory) Nikon F6 with MB-40 vertical grip. So happy .
My first one (also brand-new with MB-40 and MV-1 data reader) I've bought in 2009. Since then it has been my most used camera.
The Nikon engineers had the ambition to design by far the best 35mm film SLR ever.
And they absolutely succeeded!
It's the perfect camera. A dream machine.

Because I've been so satiesfied with my first F6, I've ordered the second one.
I am using all types of 35mm film: colour reversal, BW reversal, BW negative and colour negative.
And on my photo projects I am often using 2-3 film types parallel. So having 2 units of my perfect camera, one loaded with film type A, the other with type B, is the best solution for me.

Best regards,
Henning

Zuiko 24mm f/2.8 and hunting for Zuiko 21mm f/3.5.

Great.

An equilateral prism

Better condition FTn finder. No jumpiness. Only a small crack in the eyepiece frame. Very little, if any brassing.

Shown here, mounted to my F... Also note the website in the background...

I purchased twenty 36 exposure rolls of Tri-X from B&H this morning, that should get the Leica and I through the cold months.

New red leatherette for my Argus C3, ordered from Camera Leather. Of course, now that I'm ready to stick it down, I've decided to re-synchronize the flash contacts for X instead of M. I might as well clean and align the rangefinder too before I get it all dressed up for the holidays.

I cannot discuss here my last photography related purchase. Which is just as well, what with one thing and another I haven't had a chance yet of taking it out shooting.
