4.0 paint for general, non handling kit, for example, 3D printed lens hood interior shade, pinhole camera compartmen.
Despite it not being exactly "photography related", I drove to chicago over the weekend and bought this benchtop milling machine. I'm getting more and more into hobby machining, particularly for camera modifications & custom builds. definitely a great tool to add to my workshop

You did well. Some years ago, I looked at the inexpensive equivalent at HF and the backlash was so bad you could get black eye adjusting the thing! Some time after that, a retiring machinist of my acquaintance offered me a functioning Bridgeport vertical mill for no cost other than moving it from his old shop. I was soooo tempted, but I had nowhere to put it...
Ok, I have a 1913 made 13x18cm camera I really like (ICA Ideal 385), it's Compound shutter runs fine again, the lens is in good shape - but it came without film holders and a broken matte screen...
Anyway I bought a pack of 25 sheets of Ilford FP4plus 13x18cm.
Good decision or stupidly optimistic?
Best

Hi Kino!Sounds like an adventure to me! Those old plate cameras are great fun to shoot and generally produce great images.

Uhhhh, yes!!
To which one? Also yes!
I don't want to imagine what it must be like moving a Bridgeport mill.
Plan on a forklift and/or 3 ton or heavier hoist, plus a similarly rated truck...
