I'd be curious to see your resulting images with the Golf...

Yesterday I did a few wet prints. The lens is really sharp.

We use couple to mean two exactly and few to mean around 3 or 4. Otherwise we use the exact count.

"Dinner was lovely, dear. Let us now eat between 23 and 35 grapes each by means of a light dessert."
"Ah, delicious, although my grape-eating experience was thwarted somewhat by the four to seven seeds I found in the 29 grapes I just ate."

Haven't bought very much in the last couple of weeks. Heck, even didn't buy anything at the last camera fair.
So yesterday I acquired a KW reflex prism for a Praktica FX-2, and a pair of flash connector plugs for my Leica MD-2.

That sounds approximately correct, dear.

I bit the bullet and sprung for an 8x10 box of Bergger Pancro 400. I've securely locked myself in the darkroom, with enough food and doughnuts to survive as long as it takes the wrath of wifey to pass... 😟

The new Polaroid I-2 camera. It's actually pretty sweet - it has full autofocus, +/- 2 stops exposure comp, auto, aperture priority, shutter priority, and full manual exposure control, and external flash sync via 2.5mm headphone jack. And the I-type film is pretty good too - not quite as sharp or as good colors as Fuji Instax, but pleasing enough, and unlike the Instax, you can cut open the packets and do image transfers.

I was given a Canon cine camera on Thursday & was considering extracting the lens to adapt to one of my small format digital set-ups, till I saw how much they sold for on e-bay (mainly over £100 for this model!). So I decided to donate it to the local photography specialist Charity shop.

While there I spotted an intriguing process lens that the only charged £1 for. Definitely worth more to me than the cine camera!

It seems to be a 100mm/3.5, with a lovely 12 bladed iris, but no manufacturers info. The mount is either M44x1 or 1 3/4" 24tpi (both fairly unusual & very close to each other) Hopefully I can modify it's flange to fit my BPM bellows, as well as mounting it on my 5x4 monorails (it's unlikely to cover 5x4 but barrel mounting to a DIY lens board should be simple and I'll be able to determine it's image circle)

A few rolls of 35mm film.

How do you get rid of REMJET, and is it possible to implement this extra step into the Tetenal/Adox C-TEC 41 2-bath process? Thanks!

There are many ways of doing it, but for me, it works best to process the film and then when it comes out of the fixer, put the film (still on its reel) in a large tub of warm water with half a spoonful of sodium carbonate dissolved in it. I then take a soft pig hair brush and as I unspool the film from the reel, brush off the remjet underwater. When that's done, I flip over the film and inspect the emulsion side as some remjet tends to find its way onto that side. Affected spots I rub between thumb and forefinger (under water) until the remjet is gone. Then wash the film thorough; it helps to run it through a bath of slightly acidified water after the remjet/carbonate removal bath to prevent drying marks (also on the emulsion side).
This cleaning process is essentially decoupled from the actual film processing so it doesn't really matter how or in what kind of chemistry you develop the film. The main disadvantage is that a significant amount of remjet dissolves inot the developer. I don't really mind since I process ECN2 film in DIY ECN2 developer that I mix fresh and use one shot. I don't like how this film turns out when developed in C41.

Thank you for your response @koraks I should have looked at your webpage earlier, as you've provided a detailed explanation of the remjet removal process there.
