what waS your last photography related purchase?

Gra Lab 505 timer, may give up on it as you cannot stop and start it with a foot switch.

You can start your exposure with the foot switch. You just can't pause your exposure with a foot switch.
I've worked out a couple of work arounds.

6x Jobo 1 liter bottles, 2x C41 and 1x E6 developing kits.

Can't avoid color forever. Gotta try it.

Pentax Super Takumar 35mm/3.5 lens. Very impressive little lens, much better than I was expecting.

This is a very good lens. Congratulations!

Gossen Sixtino. Small, lightweight, beautiful and fully functioning. Now on a weekend trip together with the Adox Golf folder.

What is your solution?

I'll try to remember to answer this when I set up the darkroom for the next round of printing. IIRC, it involves a combination of the foot switch and the Hold button on the face.

Does the astrum group buy count? Because if so, I think I might win this thread in terms of film for a bit… its a lot of film…

Toyo-View 45C -- for the cost of shipping ($25). Perfect condition -- just needs a new bellows -- I ordered a red one for $60. Here's what the NY warehouses were selling it for 25 years ago:

I'm still in shock.

Zero Image 75D 4x5 Deluxe Pinhole Camera

In person....A beauty pre-A1 Nikkor S 50mm f 1.4 / $89 USD....... Can't say enough good things about Precision Camera in Austin. Anthony hunted up front & back caps....as well as an eyepiece for me...... @no charge!
Also .... a period-correct lens hood on the way from B&H .....for $9.95..... and free shipping since i bought some Foma paper....
Let's hope these places aren't the last of their kind

That black F ain't half bad either.

Thanks. No kidding..... pre-66 with Nippon Kogaku badge in front of the shutter release.... brassed,.... well used..
A recent E**y purchase for $175....the later prism w round eyepiece. I had been jonesing for an F2 Titan.....but economics got the better of me. Seller said it had been recently cleaned and the first roll of Tri-X proved it works like they did back in the day...with an $89 / 50mm Nikkor S f1.4

I have the same camera/vintage, except in silver. I wanted black but couldn't find one in good shape for a decent price. You lucked out!

1930 ish Agfa 5x7 view camera. Spent the day cleaning it with wood soap and Flitz metal polish. Lens is incorrect for this format, so it must have been just someone's display camera.
