A Sigma 12-24mm f/4 lens. Unfortunately, the aperture doesn't work on either my D800 or Z8/FTZ-II, so back it goes. Grump.

I'm leaning toward the same opinion on these images and more, The sigma 56mm is very clear, more so that the canon 50mm I've bene using for the same type of shot however with the 56mm on a crop sensor, I'm getting near 85mm so this is focusing me to back up even more than normal. getting me to rethink my shots.

Picked up a vintage Gralab 300 timer from a local seller on Craigslist. I already had the Omega 'clone', but the 300 on CL was in nice shape and was priced reasonably so I bought it. The seller was a very nice guy and an avid photography enthusiast.

A beautiful metal lens hood, Voigtlander, for a Voigtlander 40mm Nikon mount lens. Includes a metal slip on lens cap that's similar one for an ELCAN made, Summicron 90mm M mount lens I have. Cosina makes some of the most beautiful manual focus lenses!

Just bought a Luna-Pro SBC on the bay. Seems to be on good shape and described as working. I had one on the past and was really happy with it. Accurate, reliable and used a 9volt battery so no need to deal with battery adapters. The only critic I have against it is that casing is a bit on the weak/crappy side, Luna Pro casing was strong but I guess it not a real issue, since both of them will break if you drop them.

And after some adventures with FedEx, I was finally able to pickup the lens yesterday. I wish KEH had an alternative to FedEx for shipping -- USPS doesn't mangle packages any worse (though KEH does a good job of protecting the contents) and delivers to my mailbox, which I check six days a week. Our local FedEx last-mile contractor, on the other hand, delivers to some addresses on our road, but not to others, claiming "no access."

Just bought a Pentax SMC Takumar 35mm/3.5 lens for my Spotmatic. Great experience with the eBay seller. In fact I've had nothing but good experiences with eBay and Craigslist sellers lately. Now I just need to stop buying stuff...

I must be out of my mind, but I ordered one of those Holgon cameras... I guess I was intrigued by the variable electronic shutter speeds, and T mode activated by bluetooth on your phone... Once I get my mittens on it, I'll let you Holga guys what I think of it...

Yet another attempted repair to my Mamiya 6 folder; close to giving up on it.
Gra Lab 505 timer, may give up on it as you cannot stop and start it with a foot switch.
More chemistry and more HP5 120.

that's on my wish list also. I tried various portable studio flash units but the batteries were always the weakest link in the chain. The Walimex+portable power station is likely the best combination; using the Walimex on mains power made me love the Walimex: always ready and always full power.
