I just posted the topic of the photo I recently purchased... I thought here we can talk about anything

If I wrote just dog poop, would you automatically think it was the subject matter of a print I bought?

Velox paper that's probably been exposed to light at some point over the past 75 years. Every now and then, you get surprised, though. Actually, I'm glad so many ebay sellers have started showing photos of the actual paper - it helps with the decision making....

Within the past 24 hours, I've purchased a 28 mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.4 Nikkors, and an 80-200 Vivitar, all in Nikon F mount (pre-AI or AI). Makes no sense to have Nikkormats that work and have to fight with stop-down metering using an AF lens from a D70, and I don't have the tools or knowledge to put rabbit ears on the AF lens.

Well, I finally ordered a Zodiak-8, 30mm F3.5 lens for my Kiev 88 and an adapter to Pentacon so I can use it on my Kiev 60 as well.

I blame the Government for giving me tax money back...

Hope it wasn't an arm and a leg :D

£300 second hand (in near mint condition), so not cheap by any means. Linhof Studio still lists limited stock of this filter available new, but with VAT it is £650. That's more than I paid for the lens!

I'm now on the lookout for the Schneider IVb for my Super Angulon 72 XL... but from what I can gather this might be a long quest :whistling:

I remember Robert White selling off Center filters dirt cheap, at the same time Scheider were clearing out G Claron's and Xenar's at bargain prices. At that point I had no spare cash but we are talking about £100 ornot much moe per Center filter.

You don't want to kno what I paid for both of mine . . . . . . . . . .

Just received a really nice Leica IIIF, which I will use with a 50mm Summar that I bought for my M6 because it is soooo funky. Probably buy a Summarit or Elmar in the near future. Don't ask me why.

Formulary TF-5 and Ilfotec DD-X. I've never tried DD-X, but I have a several rolls of Ilford 3200 in 35mm and 120, so I thought I'd test out a different developer. My go-to developer is Adox Rodinal.

That would be a Graflok conversion/replacement back to go on my Anniversary Speed Graphic. Got the focusing panel for it a couple weeks ago.
