I think you can do a lot of interesting things with such chemicals. Why microphen?, I only use it with pushed processing, you seem like a slow film type of guy.I just ordered darkroom supplies - Microphen, Kodak Fixer, Sepia Toner, etc. Guess I'm boring.
That is big! Do you have a suitable camera or do you cut them down?30 sheets of 12x24" trophy aluminum for .y new wet plate addiction!!

Well at least most of us have a bit of extra time on our hands at the moment!Polaroid Land 180 camera. I already have some other cameras that I could use with pack film, but since I have a limited supply of both colour and B&W film left I wanted a camera where I had more control over the settings to ensure a higher success rate. Now I just need to come up with a couple of projects worth shooting!
I sure seem to only find expensive Nikon lenses. I only got a 50 1.8 AF with the FM and it is so cheap feeling it puts me off from using the camera. I'll eventually sell it to probably finance a Series E, if I find an affordable one.Bought a couple of cheap Nikon F lenses on the 'Bay yesterday. They were such bargains, and from well-known sellers, that I couldn't resist. I guess now I'm going to have to start a Nikon F system acquisition plan.

I've considered it, but it would put the camera at a disadvantage with other systems I already have. I would like to get a proper manual focus AI lens first, and if I felt I want to expand maybe cover the gaps with the non-AI.If you don't need the AI indexing, the late sixties and early 70s versions are surprisingly cheap whether you buy from the used gear dealers or just snipe at the cheap auctions from sellers you have some insight on. I'm watching a few others as well. It's kind of bass ackwards to start with the lenses at the long and short end of the spectrum, then work your way back to the middle and finally get a body, but that's the way I roll.
