a lovely 500cc slug of gum arabic from the good folks at bostick and sullivan !

Rubber "grip gloves" from Harbor Freight to use in camera and lens disassembly. A bargain at $1.99!

After years of not really wanting one, I pulled the trigger on this Nikon F Photomic FTn. Not mint by any stretch, and has some paint missing in spots. Built in the first part of 1970. Came with the 50mm f/2. Got the CRISCAM MR-9 adapters on the way. I've used F's in the past, but never had the desire to own one until now. Makes a great addition to the F2 (2), F3 (2), F4, and F5.

Shot three rolls of Provia in NJ and Florida with my newly purchased Makina. The camera is fantastic, but I have to get used to its layout to be instinctive. So, tomorrow will order some TriX and Berger 400 from BH. The days are getting too short in New Jersey...although indoors NJ warmer than indoors FL.

I received the good news from KEH today that they are buying the equipment I sent them. Now I start to re-build my savings. November was a record month of crazy GAS even by my standards. I ordered a couple rubber lens hoods from Ebay last night. I'm going to try to be good from now until February. Pray for me!

It's a hard road, but you'll make it!

This includes 9x film sheaths in size 10x15 and holders in other sizes...

For 400 asa film, in recent years have been using Delta 400 for past few years for everything from Minox to 120, but awaiting delivery of pro-pack of Tri-x and 5 rolls of Begger 400 in 120, just to try them out. Any comments about Begger 400 are graciously welcome.

I have limited experience with it, but I found It has nice midtones. However the grain is too heavy for my liking, and it has poor shadow detail even when shot at 250. I suspect the real speed of this film is far lower than advertised.

Mat board from Frame Destination -- 8-ply. They do a good job of shipping.

I have an Accura fish eye in M42 on its way to me, also a Pentax M42 to K mount adapter. When the adapter arrives I'll doubtless find one I bought years ago and mislaid.... The fish eye should be fun both on my Spotmatic F and my LX.

5 ft² 1 oz. (.5mm) goat skin in chocolate brown for making lens caps for old barrel lens. The caps will also serve as shutters.
