what waS your last photography related purchase?

Got another Watson bulk loader on the way. My current one has Kentmere 400 in it. Now that I'm getting good results, I want to load this new one with Delta 100.

Where are you buying your bulk film?

Got the kentmere from B&H, where I get the Delta is TBD. Usually buying from B&H or Freestyle. Usually it boils down to if I'm getting anything that ships ORMD like C41 kits. Freestyle will ship ORMD but B&H won't

Kiev 30.

The Minolta 16 II's image is just a tad bit too small. I also wanted something that can focus to infinity.

Betterscanning wet/dry mounting station for my NOS V700 scanner. Yep I’m so excited about digital and scanning that it sat on the shelf for a couple years before I got motivated to hook it up. Ironically it’s the death on my parents and the desire to scan old family photos for the memorial service that motivated me. The facility had a really nice LCD projector and big screen and the photos were a big hit. Of course now that the scanner is up and running I want to do higher quality scans and the film holder that came with the V700 are dog doo. Heck who know you all might actually start seeing some of my work.

Kiev 4AM with the Helios-103 to go with my Sonnar 50mm f1.5 since the IIIa I have is way too expensive to fix.

Some more HP5+ and Fomapan 400 in 120, from Stills in Edinburgh.

Got some film:
6 rolls of Fuji color
2 rolls of the new 110 film for sale at Filmphotography store for the Pentax 110
100 foot roll of Kentmere 400. My first attempt to use the bulk film loader I got on ShopGoodwill.

I shot and developed a roll of the 110 from FFP. It's not bad however I'd rate it lower than 100.

10 rolls of 120 Provia 100F

A bespoke leather pouch for storing/protecting my spare Hasselblad A12N back.

A Dallan stainless steel 5x4 developing tank, described on Ebay as being for plates, however it uses slightly curved holders to take film (I already have one).

Good 135mm f2 lenses are rare, but interesting. Didn't Soligor sell a 135mm f1.8 lens that was a bit of a dog, I think there was a highly rated Polaris 135mm maybe f1.9 from memory,

You've done well, there's few 135mm lenses of good optical quality faster than f2.8. My fastest is a 135mm f2.5 Tamron but the lens you've bought would have been fantastic when I used to shoot theatrical productions and rock concerts but I was committed to M42 and then later Pentax K/M mount cameras.

Will you use it at the wider apertures ?

Ian

It's a lens I have wanted for many years Ian the optical performance is legendary I called into my local used film camera shop shortly before they closed last Sunday and couldn't believe my eyes, I have been using Canon FD gear for more than 30 years and have never even seen one. I anticipate using the wide aperture performance for low light situations and make the best use of this ability for whatever situations present themselves.

Closed for the day ...or forever?

2 bags of D-76
1 bag of Xtol
1 bottle of rapid fixer

Not as exciting as a new camera but that film ain't gonna develop itself!

Just for the day I'm very pleased to say Theo it's a lovely shop in a historic building that sells only used film equipment that against the odds is very successful that has become a destination for analogue photographers all over the country.

Are we talking about West Yorkshire Cameras in the Leeds Corn Exchange?

Bought a nice Nikon FB-11A Compartment Case and a Nikon CA-1 filter wallet for my Photomic F Bodies and lenses.

Bought a new Voigtlander 40mm f2 for Nikon.
I haven't developed any film that I used it with, yet, but I think I'm liking the view of this focal length. Looking forward to using it in the coming weeks to see how it does.

A Voigtlander Vito CLR , in excellent nick for 8 Squids-lightmeter doesn't work but I have a handmeter so that's no problem.
