Stone, since you moved your Saltzman thread I've been checking in on it, but can't post to it.

On the subject of small formats in big enlargers, I think you've been told there is no issue of light reduction under a constant source, all other things being equal. Sometimes it's easier to visualize things when boundary conditions are in play. In this case, consider the extreme case where your negative format might be the same size as a pinprick. Common sense visualization implies how dim the resulting projection might be.

It's the exact same reason in reverse that pinhole exposures are so long.

Ken, there's a reason you can't post, you should fix that you would be a valuable contributor.

The f100s home. I'm trying to understand why people call it 'big'.
The mirror slap can wake up the dead. Even my RB feels muted by comparison.

I ordered 4 rolls of Rolleit ATP 1.1 yesterday to play around with. I've seen some good results with this film at ISO 25 developed for 12 minutes in Rodinal 1:300, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Get 200f of Orwo UN54+ and shoot till you exhaust. Such a beautiful film in D-76 et al. You live in one of the nicest cities and the opportunities are plenty.

I picked up a large used plate-warmer to use when coating emulsion on 10"x12" photographic plates. Total cost . . . $2.98 plus tax. I'm perty egg-cited to get started.

the lens looks pristine!

analoguey, I think so too, however, the rear element had given me a bit of grief, although a few board member's have given me hope that it won't be as bad as it seems! I had one of these a few times in the past, even a hazy one, and they all seem to function well with a great amount of sharpness!

That one is not loading.
I see you got an f100 as well. We should compare notes on how it does - since we are both newbies to it!

I have been wanting a wide angle as well, but not very convinced about the 24mms

Yes, I just won both items, and they are in the process of being delivered to me! I can't wait! One is in my state, so it should be here by at least Thursday!
