They were for sure-my first camera was a Pentax MX...I'm looking to buy another one. In the meantime, I've just bought a Mamiya C220 and 105 mm lens from Mr Cad in London ( a veritable analogue Aladdin's cave and conveniently located just round the corner from Victoria Station). Two items. First, a very clean 24mm SMC Takumar lens for an upcoming trip to Asia, and second, the genuine Pentax 24mm square hood. Those Pentax things were certainly beautifully crafted.

Interesting comment re. the Fomapan 200-I've used quite a lot of the 100 with no such problems. I wonder if the 200 uses a different backing paper (I agree it's a bit cheap and nasty compared to Ilford's)?I haven't bought much for photography for a while, but I just might have pulled the plug on a nice Spotmatic with 35mm, 50mm, and 135mm lenses.
Other than that I just get more of what I already use:
Ilford HP5 / Kentmere 400 / Ultrafine Extreme 400 - they are so similar there's not very much practical difference between them, so I buy what I can easily get locally, and then go online if I cannot find it locally.
Ilford Multigrade Classic matte / Warmtone semimatte in 11x14 primarily.
Ethol LPD.
ADOX FX-39 / Harvey's Panthermic 777 from bluegrass
Sprint stop bath and 'End Of Run' wetting agent.
Ilford Hypam fixer.
Moersch MT-3 vario toner.
Moersch Carbon toner.
Harman Selenium toner.
But I did try out some Fomapan 200 for portraits and it is so beautiful in 35mm size; the 120 paper backing is seriously terrible compared to Ilford's nice paper (it results in way more dust spots on the Fomapan than the Ilford for whatever reason).
I also bought a bottle of Ilfotec DD-X for no apparent reason, maybe because I have a bunch of Delta 400 in 120 that I need to shoot and process, and I don't particularly like that film. My guess is that it might fare better in DD-X.
a set of close-up lenses to test if they provide more or less image quality than tubes.I couldn't see a difference but, my macro lens was better than both.couid be a give away, freebee, book, equipment, film, chemistry
