Nicely printed image; I like it. Glad to see a fellow Exakta user making photos.

Welcome to APUG! We'd love to see how those dry plates came out!

Thanks, been around quite a while, just never got around to posting.

With respect to the dry plate work: still working on coating (although it's improved considerably), determining the exposure behavior (lots of long exposures, so reciprocity an as-yet-undetermined factor), and best development practice.

Here is the last one from a recent batch, with some coating flaws (mostly) that read more like light leaks.

Pentax MX, general photos from a recent holiday in Austria; used some Ektachrome from my freezer (lab processed for convenience this time), getting a few years past-its-date, but still looking good.

Still using more Agfa Vista Plus 200 in my Agfa Silette L for my "everyday scenes" theme.

I heard that this was not really an Agfa produced film - true?

My new to me Toyo 45AX field camera.
Kodak tech Pan expired in 1998.
Ilford Microphen 1:5
Printed on Ilford MG IV RC Glossy with Beselet 45 MX W/Dichro head
Scanned with Epson V600
Still new to LF camera and this was mostly an exercise in using the camera and testing the old tech Pan to see if it still any good.

Kodak Brownie Flash Six-20 Special.
Refurbished/cleaned (by me)
Fuji chrome 100F respooled to 620.
Commercially developed.

Call me silly but I think they're just the cutest little camera. The shape of them just tickles me.
Great point and shoot MF for travel as well.

Cheers...

Yashica 230AF with Agfa Vista 200 ASA film, developed and scanned by Snappy Snaps in Lincoln. A test film as much as anything showing it to be an excellent camera in good condition (just like the seller told me it was!).

Finished the second roll of Agfa Vista Plus 200 in my Agfa Silette L. Commercially processed and printed.

With this camera I've noticed that a bit too many close-focus wide-aperture shots (where I want to put the background out of focus) are failures: the closer subject is out of focus and the background is sharp. It's almost as if the lens isn't focusing close (yet the front element housing is moving forward as I focus closer, as I'd expect). I tried a simple test, focusing while the shutter was held open on B with a cable release, but couldn't determine if focus was working. Time to get things checked.

I'm now continuing my "everyday scenes" theme with one of my Kodak Retina IIa's using Kodak Ultramax 400.

^Which film did you use? lol

For me, last was the F with a roll of Portra 400, processed at Kenmore Camera in Kenmore, Washington. Before that, the F3P with a roll of almost 9 years-expired Fuji Superia 400 XTRA.

Fuji Pro 160S the first film in a new to me Canon F1n that I'm still testing, it's certainly no lightweight it feels a little heavier than my New F1's, but has that quality feel of an M series Leica, I will have the film commercially processed when I finish it

XA, Kentmere 400 @400, Rodinal 1:33-ish 9:30-ish 20C-ish.

Nearly finished the 10 rolls of this stuff I bought a while ago.
It's OK.
But, the shameful truth is, even as an Englishman, I have always preferred Tri-X to any Ilford product.
Including HP5+.
I preferred it in the '70s and now I still prefer it in the 20-teens.
And it's changed twice in between, I think.

There it is, I've said it. I can't say I feel better, but I have a sense of some sort of relief.

I just got the test film I shot with my new Canon F1n back from the lab. and i'm very pleased with it, the exposures are all correct, the frame spacing on the negs are very even, and there is no scratching on them.

Fuji GW680III, Agfa APX 100 expired 2004, developed in Pyrocat HD 1:1:100 @70° this afternoon. Negatives look really nice, just re-upped my membership at Havery Milk Photo Center here in San Francisco, so I'll print a few of them this coming weekend. The Fuji is quickly becoming my favorite little camera, definitely like the 6x8 format.

Roll of Fujicolor Pro 400H in the F3P a few hours ago. Has yet to be dropped off. Will do that tom'w. Camera is loaded with another August 2007 expiration date roll of Superia 400 XTRA. Also loaded up a battery into the camera itself and removed the MD-4.
