Last week I had a roll of Ektar processed and printed. The images are from another one of my Exakta VX's, using 55/1.9 and 135/3.5 (both Steinheil München) and 200/5.5 Schneider Kreuznach lenses.

Most of the images were of autumn colors; I am very happy with the results.

Continuing with the Exakta trend, just received the commercially processed Fuji 200 prints made with a VXIIa.

All came out nice. I wasn't using an exposure meter, so relied on experience.

Somewhat embarrassed that I'm favoring the more saturated (less natural) Ektar 100.

F5 with a couple of Nikkor primes (28-180mm): Three rolls of E100G; M6 with a 50 Summilux ASPH: 1 roll and a bit of HP5+. I'll collect up a few more rolls of E6 before dropping same off at The Lab on East 2nd, here in Vancouver. The HP5+ is into the freezer for the time being; when the monsoon season starts in earnest, it will be time to mix up some chemistry and settle into the darkroom for a bit ( a large mixed bag of 120 and 35mm ((PanF+, FP4+, tri-X and HP5+ awaits processing)).

Now using a Leica III (black, from 1934) with Rollei RPX 25 and a postwar Zeiss Nettar 515/16 with Portra 160 NC (from 2004, I think).

Also using ZeroImage 2000 with Kodak Pro 100 from 1998!

I loaded up my Pentax ME just to see how she was firing. Film used was some old Fujicolor Reala I have had in my freezer for years. All seemed well, although I haven't developed my film roll yet. I tried sending the roll to Canada, but it came back to me because of some problems with the international shipping label. I'm still confused as to what went wrong with shipping. So, now I sit on the roll of film, but will ship it to California next time. No fuss, no muss.

I finally finished a roll of Pan F in my LX today. Took 4 months as I haven't used this particular camera for awhile. Use the Voigtlander Ultron 40/2 to expose the roll so I am interested in how it turns out. I think I'll stir up a batch of fresh d-23 to dunk it in. I don't think I've ever used that combo before. Should be interesting.

Nikon F3, Kentmere 400 pushed to 12,500 in Legacy Eco Pro (Xtol) stock on a Uniroller base for 22 mins. Kentmere is remarkable up to ISO 3200 and in a pinch can do 6400, but I wouldn't bother with 12,500.

Rolleiflex 3.5 Automat MX-EVS. Ilford Pan F 50. Developed in Rodinal 1:100 at 73F for 13 minutes. May have needed a bit more development based on the edge printing but I will wait until I contact print the negs.

Early pre-war Agfa Jsolette with 85/4.5 lens in a Compur-Rapid shutter. Fast becoming one of my favorite cameras. Ilford FP4+ developed in Rodinal 1:100 for 18 minutes at 68F. Negatives look pretty good.

I am experimenting a bit with high dilution Rodinal and longer developing times. Not stand development but out to 20 minutes or so with gentle agitation each minute. I am not sure how it will work out but it has been interesting at the very least.

Leica III with a 35mm Nikkor, T-Max 400, developed in HC110-B using the massive dev project times. This is the second time I've used this combo and both times the negs are far too contrasty. Switching the lens for my Elmar 50 reduces contrast considerably.

Finished Tri-X in my plain-prism Nikon F.

Almost done with Ektar 100 in my Exakta 500:

T-MAX 400 (TMY-2) through my 35mm Yashica 108. Processed in D-76 1+1. Just prior to that it was T-MAX 100 (TMX) 120 in my Bronica SQ-A with a 50mm wide angle lens. Also processed in D-76 1+1. Have a little light leak and a problem with the shutter occasionally not firing, so time to take it for service I think.

Burke and James 5 x 7 Commercial View, 240 mm Schneider Xenar in barrel, J Lane dry plates, tray processed in H -110, dilution B for 5 minutes. ISO 2 sure makes shooting barrel lines a breeze.

Four rolls and 11 frames of E100G late this morning, into mid-afternoon, shooting downtown ( a pair of Leica M6s w/ 28, and 90mm Summicrons ((the latter rather sparingly)) and a 50mm Summilux ASPH). Chilly (perhaps 3 or 4 C?), but worth the discomfort.

TMY2 pushed to 1600, M6ttl 50mm Summicron, straight XTOL on a little Jobo Duolab. Is there any camera more pleasing to hold than a nice Leica??

Finished a roll of Superia 400 in the F3P. Starting a roll of Kodak UltraMax 400 in the FT2 to make sure it's working. At this time, the meter seems to be lazily responding, so I think the 357 battery may be weak. Going to swap another battery in and see if things improve. If not, I'll be boxing it up and sending it down to Advance Camera Repair for an overhaul. Then, will get the FTn refoamed and press that into service for now. Originally planned to send the FTn down for an overhaul, not because it really needs it, but it is a 48 year old body.
