Out of curiousity, does anyone know what J&C Pro 100 was? I just shot my last sheet of it and am a little wistful and a little curious.
Thanks!

I was under the impression that it was Forte film.

J&C 400 and 200 were Classic a.k.a. Bergger a.k.a Forte

The source of J&C Pro 100 was never fully explicited beyond "Chinese."

Am I the only one on this planet or forum that finds this combination of letters humorous?

sorry carry on...
Apologies JD, I couldn't remember your initials hence the Mr. I had a customer, a Mr Bean, as you can imagine he hates Rowan Atkinson :D

Can you shine some light on this film ? I guess you must have used some.

Ian

Sorry I do not know its origin or how to soup it. If I you can't find any information on digital truth or here on APUG I would start by rating the film at half speed and soup it in d76 1:1 @8min and see what that produced. A similar suggestion was given to me a couple years ago here and it works very well as a starting point.

Development Chart

I don't know what it was, but I copied the dev chart before the site went down. I haven't used it in a couple of years, so can't comment on the chart's accuracy.

I don't know what it is but I've used a couple hundred sheets of 8x10. Rated at 50, I developed it in Pyrocat HD 2:2:160 for 7min=N-, 8.5min=N, 11min=N+. I've developed it for 6min if the neg was rather hot. Great results, I found two defective sheets out of that group... Considering I paid only $1 a sheet for the last 100 I'd rate it a great value and wish I could buy more.
