Hi,
I recently bought me an old model Hasselblad SWC camera with the Biogon 38 mm f4,5 lens. It has the chrome lens and on the side of the camera it says: "SUPER WIDE C". It came with the original "Hasselblad 38" lens hood (screw mount). It's my first Hasselblad camera and I like it very much. I just shot my first 3 rolls and will have these developed soon.

It's serial number is TWC6570. If I understand it correctly, the first two letters stand for the year it was made: i.e. 1965. The third letter was added for the model: SWC. (source: http://www.hasselbladhistorical.eu/HT/HTDating.aspx). The lens has number: 3571235, that would date back to 1963 (according to the same source).
I want to get me some filters (UV, yellow, orange and dark red) for B&W photography that will fit this camera. I haven't got a manual for this model (can only find manuals for the newer models). I read a lot on internet, but still don't know for sure what kind of filters I need and if I need some kind of adapter. I read many times that the thread on this lens isn't the same of most filters, so they won't fit well.
The best info I found seems to be this:
"The correct filters for this lens are the 63mm filters. The 63mm filters have no thread, and are called DROP IN filters, but they are held in place by lens hood, or retaining rings. The filters are thin, low profile, so as not to cause darkening at the corners of your pictures. You will see or feel the lip on the inside of your lens hood. This allows you to use filter and lens hood at same time, without the lens "seeing" the edge of the hood."
But is this info correct?
My questions:
1) Can someone please tell me what kind of filter and/or adapter I need for this lens? Should I get original Hasselblad filters or are there other brands?
2) Does anyone have the manual for this model and could send me a copy/PDF?
Thank you,
Bert from Holland
