What lensboard do I need for this Componon 105?

I have a Schneider Componon 105mm 5.6 that a online friend was nice enough to give me but I need a lensboard for it to use with my Beseler 23C.

It says Omega on the side and the outside diameter of the rear tube that would go into the lensboard is about 28mm.

Does Beseler make a board for this, do I need to get a custom one, or is there an adapter? Please advise.

You need a 39mm board and then an adapter 30.5mm x .5. I had about 6 off them at one time.

Ive got an extra board but I cant find any adapter. Is it a Beseler part number? I looked for Omega to Beseler lens board adapter.

Thats very interesting but how is that related to the lensboard I am looking for?

Basically is it saying that condensor light makes more contrast that diffuse light?

Scneider used to sell the adapters - usually plastic, I have a metal one from a Durst roll head printer turret with my 105mm, the turrets rotated with a number of lenses for different sized prints.

The adapters do turn up on ebay.

Besler probably used to make a board for this lens. Most likely to find one on e bite.
The also made blank lens boards and step up adapters were made.

DIY.........1/8-3/16" plywood from the local Michaels or JoAnn. Cut to 4X4 and drilled out would be a lot faster and cheaper
than getting a blank & having a machine shop like Grimes do it.

If you pick up the cost of the ply & postage I can cut one for you.......PM me.

Thats very nice of you to offer. But isnt it just as easy to cut and drilll a thin piece of aluminum that lens boards are made out ot ? And its not a standard size bit is it? Musnt the hole be 32.5 mm? + .003 How precise must the placement and dimension of the hole be? My understanding is that those holes must be cut on a metal lathe, which I havent got access to or experience using.

There is a board Im trying to find its a Beseler 8028. Anyone have one they arent using? It is made specifically for mounting this lens that I have.

There is also a ring from Schneider that was pointed out to me by someone nice enough to help.

There is also a Chinese ring and a adapter for 8.88.

Ideally I would like to have a threaded aluminum or brass board, indeed that would take a machinist to make though.

Probably not worth it to get a custom machined metal part for this older lens. The wood board is easy and works well. I have even made a lens board out of thick cardboard and glue. It will get you using the lens while you wait for something to pop up on ebay.

are you sure its 30.5 and not 32.5?

Slightly larger is OK. 1mm or so is fine. That's for a non-threaded board.
I'm assuming you have a flange, if you don't it would have to have it slightly snug so you can screw it directly into the board.
Other options are to cut the hole to the right size and either use an O ring over the threads or tape around the threads, above the board.

Sheet aluminum would work but it should be around that 1/8"-3/32" to fit the lount.
