I picked this cartridge up at a garage sale for a quarter and have no idea if it works, how many exposures are left, or what cartridge it is. I assumed it was a 600 but I noticed the holes are different from the ones online. The plastic tab has blue stripes if that means anything. uploadfromtaptalk1403981956227.jpg

Thanks for any help.

Type 600 would have 4 Tabs at the back- and underside of the cassette, to prevent loading into Type SX-70 camera.

This has a plain edge.

I dug out my Polaroid that takes 600, and this cartridge definitely doesn't fit. It's wider than a 600 cartridge. Thanks for the information so far everyone. I'll keep you all updated.

Oh and darkosaric, if you were asking if this is impossible film, I don't know. What you see is exactly how I got it. It was in a box with a bunch of junk.

Since it's wider, I'm thinking it's for the image/spectra cameras. Now I need to come across one to test my hypothesis.

Could it be a Kodak instant film cartridge? I came across a old photo on Kodak instant film in the family photo albums. If I remember correctly with was a bit wider than standard Polaroids.

No it is not Kodak, as Kodak packs did not contain a battery.

And the battery is marked the way is done by Polaroid.

Could be. The Polaroid Spectra has wider cartridges too so until I can get a Kodak or Polaroid to try it out, I won't know.

As AgX has said, the Kodak Instant film packs did NOT contain a battery.

The photo shows green marks on the battery visible through the battery contact cut out. I've never seen this.

Those are markings warning to cut the battery.

Good to know that I won't have to include a Kodak in my search. Hopefully I'll find a Polaroid that I can try out this weekend at a garage sale.
