Hello- I was trying to see how many have ditched the wet processes around here and print there film other ways such as inkjet. I'm not 100% sure if I can ask this but if I can't please do not hesitate to delete this.

Thanks

I own the lighthouse lab I print black and white and colour the traditional way for myself and others every day.
My favorite is hand printing Ilfochrome

Wheres the choice for darkroom ALL the time? Good grief, another skewed and flawed poll.

Rick

or, how about an option, most of the above

At the moment. The lab did the prints from the negs when processed. That's scanning and printing on RA4 paper. So, I'd say "made for me on photo paper".
If I get a scanner, I may do the same with slides when needed. If I can find an Ilfochrome lab that does economical prints in Europe, I may use it for the nicest slides. This doesn't count as I haven't still done it.

Whatever it is, printed on RA4 paper and scanned for most.

For my business all prints made at a lab. If I have my order in by 10 AM it's at my door the next day!

For my darkroom, the print output depends on how large a trash container I have!

Specifically gelatin-silver photographs, not "prints", 100% of the time.

Every photograph is made by me, one at a time, start to finish, and in full by my own hands.

If I don't do it that way the work is not truly and unequivocally my own and my moral conscience won't let me sign it.

Other folks may make alternative ethical accommodations but if you look at one of my photographs, or buy one, you know for sure what you are dealing with.

i print most everything ... that is when a lab doesn't print it for me ...

I do my own printing in the darkroom always, and I have also done some for others.

I admittedly don't print much as I don't have much space in which to do so. And that is not dedicated space at that. But for what I do it is all optical printing on silver gelatin paper.

I do all my own printing, except for color and the occasional roll of XP2...that stuff goes to a lab.

I do all of my own developing and printing. So, another vote for ALL darkroom.

It would be interesting if EVERY APUG member answered a servey with a question asking if they do any kind of darkroom work....by this (I would have kind of thought this anyways) darkroom by far outweighs the rest!

When I saw the thread title I thought this poll might be like: 0-1 prints per session: 1-2 prints per session: 2-5 prints per session: 5-10 prints per session, etc.

I'm with Maris, I would feel a bit dirty trying to pass of a lab B&W print as my own.

I voted "I do my own darkroom printing most of the time", when really it's I do my own darkroom printing all of the time. Colour and B&W. I'm currently printing colour every night, usually 4 prints per session.
