Blackout curtains, to aid in re-purposing a bathroom into a darkroom.

I am curious how you will use them. I have two that serve as my "door" -- one on each end of an exceptionally deep jamb.

The bathroom door is at the on one side of a short "T". The door itself stops most of the light. I am going to put the curtains at the base of the "T", to stop light from reaching the door in the first place.
I am fortunate that that door opens into another short hall and I have to turn 90 degrees to get into the area where I will have the darkroom set up. Both the enlarger and the area where the trays will be are separated from the short hall by a wall. I'm hoping that the combination of the curtain, the door, and the partial labyrinth will accomplish what I need.
I have lots of experience making a bathroom work as a darkroom. Some potential light leaks are easier to deal with than others, and saving certain tasks (such as loading film reels) to the night hours can be an important option.

Most likely 11x14 Fuji Crystal Archive to print the C41 6x6 negs I shot for the summer vacations. It'll have to wait until it gets cold enough that I can stick it in my cold storage room rather than gobble space in the family freezer.

In a time period spanning over six decades, I have accumulated so many cameras, lenses, etc., that my future purchases will be limited to film, chemicals, paper, batteries, etc. Never felt the need for autofocus or computerized cameras.

Well, assuming I *don't* get my module, 2120 is probably a realistic target to reach said mastery in printing with FB paper and various toners.

Good luck! Sounds like a fairly low-cost solution. My two curtains appear to provide 100% (or near enough) blockage. Seeing as I was initially going to have a door installed, this was an order of magnitude cheaper.

I have bought a B split image focusing screen for one of my Canon F1n's from Japan from eBay, I have one already for my other one but it's a pain to keep swapping them around and I find it much faster and more accurate to focus wide angle lenses with them.

not sure why anyone would want to stay beyond the time they are supposed to check out. folks just see housekeeping changing / making the bed, emptying the trash and restocking the mini fridge. last thing I would want to be is a head in a jar of ectoplasm, even if the AI makes it seem as if one isn't... no thanks!
as for what I might buy soon? not sure. maybe some potassium and iodide salts but im on the fence.
