The Nikon F6 is my choice. It doesn't look or feel like a brick, but it's solid as one.

I love the Nikon F6, because it feels solid, has most of the features I could ask for, it has great ergonomic both with and without the grip. I can use all my old manual focus lenses and at the same time the most modern AFS lenses from Nikon. The matrix metering suits my shooting style and it has a nice feature to print exif-data between the frames and the possibility to down-load the exif-data to a file.

It's a camera, which makes me want to take more photos.

I believe the F6 can use all AFS lenses with no restrictions. My F4 can use them (e.g. 60/2.8 Micro AFS) except in Aperture-priority or Manual modes (Shutter-priority and P, Ph modes are fine).

The F6 with modifications can even use pre-AI lenses in stop-down mode.

I would have to say one of my (3x) Canon A1s' with MA power winder. As for lens, any FD/FL lens is good glass. And when I am lazy (AF) EOS 3 . MF camera would be my Yashica Mat.

My favorite is my Wehman 8x10. Just looking at the big ground glass is pure joy. I have perspective control when I need it. I have the choice of lenses of many different ages, types and brands. The tonality of the large negatives doesn't hurt either.

I actually meant to say, that the F6 could be used with the newest of AFS lenses (English isn’t my native language, so my translation wasn’t correct, I’m sorry for the confusion), but then I realized that also wouldn’t be correct. :confused:

Unfortunately the F6 can’t be used with the new electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism, that Nikon has start introducing in some of the new telephoto lenses (e.g. the AF-S Nikkor 800mm f/5.6E FL ED VR and the AF-S Nikkor 400mm f/2.8E FL ED VR) and only in manual stop down mode with latest generation of the PC lenses from Nikon, which is also using the electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism.

But anyway, the F6 is a wonderful camera.

My new Pinhole Camera 50mm f 250...like a 16 mm in 35mm format. I love my Fuji GW690II too and the Leica M-4.

This year I seem to be moving back to my old SLR equipment. About 3 weeks ago I shot a few rolls in my Minolta SRT 102 but over the last couple weeks I have been going everywhere with my old Pentax K1000.

For February I am going to spend a little time going down memory lane with my K1000 and the original M 50mm f/2, still a very solid performing lens.

I was very fond of my now-defunct Olympus XA. Being able to control focus and aperture and see the selected shutter speed in a camera so small was great. Very quick to use and the lens was pretty sharp when stopped down. It was a great travel camera. Shame it got drenched in sea water.

I dunno that's tough..

My dads Nikon f2 that he took all my baby pictures with and gave to me with a full kit on my 30th bday... Definitely a fun easy camera


Second favorite would be my hassies... I took two 500cm's to elsalvador with me last time... Took some very nice pics and it was rugged because we were drilling water wells down there

Also the Fuji instant back was a big hit with the villager kids

Santa Barbara Lensless Camera Company 4x5 pinhole camera. Light, fast and easy and fun to use. For "serious" work it would be my Rollei 2.8C TLR.

Rolleiflex 3.5 C, nothing could be removed from it, and therefore it's only a tool (but What a tool!) in my hands. If I was to give up all my cameras but one, it's the one which would stay.

I would have to say my Polaroid Auto 100, and my home made pack film converted Model 800. It's been with me since 2003 and just the most amazing thing to do at gatherings. The flashbulbs go off and you're the center of attention.

My number 2 camera would be the Mamiya RB67 ProS and with the 180mm lens makes it a killer combination when I use it.

Any of my Minolta SLRS, I have so many of them, it's like I use the whole system, not just a camera, it's a lifestyle.

My Linhof Technika 70. My head tells me other cameras handhold better, and other cameras work better on a tripod, but my heart keeps bringing me back to it. It's what I'm shooting with pretty much exclusively at the moment.

I tend to use my little collection of cameras in rotation, the latest addition getting the most use.

I don't spend a lot on cameras , as long as they work I'm happy.

The ones getting the most use now are an EXA Ia followed by a Yashica D.

My Bronica SQ-Ai is my current favorite in 120. For 35mm I'd say my Konica S2.

I've been using a Canon Elan IIe and it's really growing on me.
