Me too. Mine is a 503cxi, but all 'blads handle the same. I like it best with my 150mm Sonnar.

This is why I posted that:

My first idea was a 500cm and wlf. Hold the camera in my right hand, release with my right index finger, right thumb around the non speed winder, focus with the left hand. It's the way the camera works for me, it does make it a problem using focusing handles and also speed winders, but it does make the camera fast to use.

For me it's a Minolta X-570 with a Motor Drive 1. The flexibility of the Minolta Program System allows it to go anywhere and do anything if you attach the right pieces. It feels just right in my hands and sometimes seems to read my mind. The Rokkor brand lenses are all excellent. The Mamiya C33 comes out when I'm willing to work much harder for a medium format neg, and the Zeiss folder is just for fun.

My Nikon F5 with a 50mm on it. It's so responsive, feels perfect in my hand, and I just know how it reacts/acts. I always lusted over the F5 as a kid, and now that I have one, I can honestly say it lives up to my expectations. It's so freakin sweet.

Me I like using my Pentax 6x7 because its so flexible, but still really like using my Wista 45 or my Rittereck 57 even my B&J 810. I'm going to love using my Kodak 2D 810 if I can find a back for it....Then if I'm making pinhole images I use......

I suppose the one I have had the longest is the one that feels most natural to me--Canon New F-1--but in practice I don't use it so much.

Minolta X-700, but my new all time fave shooter as soon as I bought it 6 years ago is the Voigtlander R3M with the 40mm f1.4 Nokton. Don't tell my Leica MP. The Voigtlander with this lens fits my hand perfectly, the 1.00x viewfinder makes composition instinctive, its knobs and dials are just as instinctive, and the cocking and release packs authority without being loud. Oh, it takes great pictures too.

The New Canon F1 is my all time favourite too, and the ones I most enjoy using, I have three of them that I use constantly that have never let me down in almost thirty years.

The New Canon F1 is also my favorite for 35mm - never have had any problems with them over the years. I also enjoy my Mamiya Press for medium format, especially the size of the 6x9 negative.

It use to be that anything with all the bells and whistles was my choice because I wanted to shoot fast and have all the auto everything features for those quick captures, even shooting one handed on the street. Then a couple weeks back I chastised myself for rarely using my M3 with what I always considered a slow focusing rangefinder patch compared to auto CW or segmented metering and AF, and I found that I had much more fun figuring things out with a handheld meter, shooting by hyperfocal methods and taking my time. So I'll nominated anything all manual like the M3, or a K1000 with a broken meter and a wonderful mirror clack. Perhaps my next camera might be an original Nikon F to go with my Nikon lenses. (Btw, this is what happens when you get old; Well at least for me)

So for me lately the fun cameras are Plaubel Makina 67W, Bronica S2s, and Olympus XA4.

Nikon F5 is probably the most ergonomically fitted camera I have ever owned. It feels like you put it on, not pick it up. It is also fun to use and the results are amazingly consistent. Nikon F90x and F100 are also a blast to use. Tops has to be the F5 though.

I have a Bronica ETR-Si that I really enjoy using at a semi-slow pace. Faster pace (more snap-shooty) I enjoy my OM-2sp, OM-40, and AE-1 equally. The only user camera I own (I have a few "learn to repair" projects) that isn't a joy to use is the OM-10, which I'm just keeping as a back-up until I get an OM-1.
