Question:
I have a older RB67 Pro Non S. Now I have a Pro SD which has the above focus screen. Using the RB67 Pro SD I focussed the lens then I swap the older focus screen into the Pro SD and found the focus was a bit different. In the past shooting the lens wide open with a 90mm Non C lens with portraits the focus was not precisely on the person's eye. In your experience, how are the older Non S focus screens?

Cheers.

That appears to be the No. 7 screen - only made available after the Pro-SD was introduced.
I'd guess that the markings on it aid when using the camera with the 645 backs.
And I don't know whether the older screens are compatible with the newer bodies, although the Reznitsky Compatibility Chart indicates that they are.

While I only have SD bodies, I have older screens and they appear to register the same as later ones.

The screen you have is not showing on any SD system charts I have come across.

While the frame may say Mamiya No.7 (which is NOT what No.7 looks like) it is possible an after market screen is fitted.

Matt, it sure appears to be a mysterious one. I've spent some time on the net and got zero matches. Your suggestion may well be pointing in the right direction.

It may be those special purpose screens were sold through the digital back marketers, so the sources of internet information have probably long been "updated".
