Just took my first shots of Arista EDU. Even with me making more then one mistake in development (which undoubtedly ruined some nice shots. ) it did well as long as it was over-exposed. Is it Formapan or some old film that is made for freestyle?

Hey, it's the Keeper of the Plains in Wichita!!

Yep, now you know where I live :munch:

I took a walk down by the river to get some exercise, and then royally screwed up unloading and development, but yet still was able to get some decent photos, though I will need to get something to help prevent drying marks.

It's Fomapan. It's not "based on" anything, it IS repackaged Fomapan.

Thanks - It looked like Fomapan, but I wasn't sure if it was the current formula, or a older generation that was being packaged.

I will need to get something to help prevent drying marks
After washing is complete, immerse in de-ionized (or distilled) water with photo-flo or equivalent at manufacturer's recommended dilution. Unroll from spiral, hold film diagonally for 1/2 minute, then hang vertically in a room away from air movements. Do not wipe.

Sorry that happened to you. I know the feeling well.

Agree with the de-ionized water/Photoflo technique.

My wife and I enjoy walking in the Riverside area when we're in town.

Keep at it.
