Okay I will ask. What is pinhole camera day in April? And what day in April is it.

I assume you take your pinhole pictures, then what?

World Pinhole Photography Day is held on the last Sunday in April around the world, 29th April in 2019.
Photograph anything you desire at any time on that day with a pinhole camera, either home-made or commercially available (of which there are many), get the film developed/processed and submit one and only one image to the World Pinhole Photography Day website Gallery with your name, location and other details. The variety of pinholes used and the quality of the work is always very interesting.

I"m surprised you missed it. Pinhole Camera Day is a major celebration here in the US -- there are parades, the president issues a proclamation, wild parties abound!

But, no, seriously -- last sunday in april a few weirdos with little boxes wander around mumbling to themselves about reciprocity failure. But it's fun, in a way...

Around here we stretch out our old and antique view camera's bellows and count the pinholes on pinhole camera day.

We weirdos need our special day to. Reminds me of a cartoon, A guy at a bar is raising a glass to “the lunatic fringe”.
