What happens if focal length and framelines dont match?

If I mount a Pentax Special 43mm (using Voigtlander 50mm screw>M adapter) on a Zeiss Ikon, and bring up the 50mm framelines, will focusing be accurate? Off by the difference in proportion of 43 to 50? What?

The focusing should be fine. The framing/composition will be off a bit.
