What happened to Ilford 's planned lith paper?

I just stumbled upon this Ilford press release from a few years ago http://www.ilfordphoto.com/pressroom/article.asp?n=119. As far as I know Ilford don't make any papers that are easy to lith print with (MGWT requiring special treatment to get so so results from what I understand).

Did anything ever come of this project and if not would it be worth resurrecting now? With Efke gone and Foma emulsion changes meaning there are very few real lithable papers left, a new lith paper from Ilford would be great.

Ilford Warmtone liths beautifully. I don't think that answers your initial question but there is nothing special needed to lith with Ilford Warmtone. Some people prefer other papers for lithing but that's purely preference.

EDIT: Just read the press release. I think that may be referring to Ilford ART 300.

Yep, we looked at a custom 'lithable' paper sometime ago, based on a fairly raw bromide type emulsion I saw some R&D prints, was'nt appreciably better than Multigrade Warmtone and had a much higher silver content ( older type technologies, that always defy popular believe that higher silver content mean better performance such as D.MAX - not usually true ) so would have been much more expensive than MGWT hence it never got to even product testing stage.
