What happened here?

I developed a roll of hp5 plus and this happened... Almost all the frames came out half blank. It was developed in Rodinal 1+50 and fixed for 3 minutes in kodafix.

This was shot on a rolleiflex sl35. And before I developed this roll I noticed the mirror starting to stick occasionally. What could be the problem with the shutter?

I think the orientation of the unexposed part is wrong for this.

The shutter is malfunctioning (unless you have something in the way of the light path).

Nope, just in the day time.

If these weren't flash exposures, then this looks like a shutter problem to me. Second curtain is catching up to the first one about half way across the frame, it looks like. That is if your shutter is a horizontally traveling one instead of a vertical shutter.

This is certainly a shame. the pictures were quite important to me. Judging from the roll, it seems like the shutter failed when I was shooting the roll. The first few shots were ok.

It doesn't help you now, but I've gotten in the habit of doing a basic shutter/sanity check before I load film in any camera and start shooting.

I don't have the cash for that unfortunately... I bought a Minolta SRT 200 awhile ago because the camera was already having other problems already.

hang on to it till you can afford the repair? its a great camera.

shame is, selling it as is wont get you more than $50 at most if the buyer is looking at a repair cost.

Where can I get a repair? Also, the lens will also need a cla... The aperture ring sticks and is hard to rotate and the focusing ring is really stiff.
