And finished off both rolls of HP5+ as well, still have to soup those and the Delta 3200.

Didn't find enough square composition colour opportunities to finish off the roll of Solaris 200 in the Instamatic.

Latest was a roll of BW400CN, run through the F5. Previous was a roll of Fuji Pro 400H partially run through my old F4s and partially through an F5 that I was considering, but didn't get.

Working on a roll of Pro 400H in the F5, a roll of HP5+ in the F2AS, and a roll of Delta 100 in the F FTn. After tomorrow night, I will probably have a roll of Pro 160C loaded into the FM2.

Shot a couple of rolls of Neopan 400 (120). Running through my last 50 rolls of it, don't know what to do for a replacement.

Ferrania probably. I thought they'd stopped making it, but I was wrong.

http://www.ferraniait.com/solutions/photography/photograph.htm

The page seems to indicate that they still make 135 and APS.

I am still shooting Mar/2010 expired 126 and hope they'll start it up again once the current backlog is sold off. Doing my best to help with that, just dropped a roll off for processing this morning, my local lab just around the corner from where I work claims they can still process it. If they flub it I'll have to mail it out or get some colour chems myself.

New 126 would be very exciting.

You're lucky, I don't think anyone local to me will do 126 anymore. I'm afraid to send out my 126 because I need the cartridges and paper back to respool more. I ended up developing my own but getting prints is a problem.

I have about 40 rolls of expired Ferrania Solaris 200 left to shoot. Unfortunately, they're 12exp. and thus costly to process. I guess I'll just shoot all, drop them in a freezer and have them batch processed sometime in the future.

Also shot some Agfa Vista Plus 200. Very average film, but good enough for my experimental purposes.

New B&W 126 would be REALLY fun!

They are literally a 5 minute walk away so I can get everything back for re-loading after they process the C41. I've dealt with them for years so they don't mind me bringing in crazy stuff like 126, actually their film business is slow enough they probably would welcome it from anyone (they used to do E6 and B&W but no longer). Reloaded B&W I can develop myself at home if I'm careful. If I find myself shooting more color I'll have to see about developing the film too.

For the shop to do prints is very expensive as they have to hand scan everything; their machine would crop it like 135 format. I have 126 masks and carriers for my enlarger so making prints is no problem though square paper seems very rare and I hate cropping 126 down to rectangles as the square format is half the fun.

I just tried some Kentmere 400 the other day. I souped it in D-76 and it came out lusciously grainy and slightly low-contrast.

I thought Kentmere = Ilford but upon further reading, they just seem to have the same distributor.

You can roll three in a row on a reel.

I tried to buy a press pack of Superia 800 today, but was told that all Superia has been discontinued. Fuji still lists some of it, and Freestyle still sells some, though (imported, I believe).

They tried to sell me Pro 800Z, which, ironically, has been discontinued twice now. The fact that it is still on the shelf at all shows you just how much people were eating it up.....

I don't know what I am going to do. I burn through 800 speed consumer color neg film like crazy. My stocks finally dwindled, and now the store has nothing left......

I wasn't happy with the last 3-pack of Superia 800 that I got. I underexposed it a bit for high shutter speeds but I've done that before and it has turned out better. This stock was kind of old too, Feb/2011 expiry. Not really wanting to pick up more from that batch...

Got a Mamiya RB67 with a couple of 120 backs so I'm running some expired rolls through them to check for light leaks and see if the camera is working and how I'm metering externally since my prism is not the AE version (look ma, no batteries).

Put a roll of Expired Portra 160 (2005) and NPH 400 (2003-6) though each back so far, another roll of NPH 400 is already loaded. 10 shots are easy to take in a short period which is nice.

Shot a few rolls of my default Agfa Vista Plus, some expired Ferrania Solaris and a roll of Kodak Ektar. A roll of Velvia is waiting in the fridge for better weather.

Hi Walter,

Is the Agfa Vista Plus and Ferrania Solaris the same film in different packages?

How would you describe the differences between them?

Thanks, Bill
