Fortepan 200 and EPP 100
Ektar 100 and Elitechrome 100 at Disneyland! I can't evelieve I only shot 2 rolls all day.
Do any of the famous old Kodak Picture Spots remain? Or are they all gone now? I used to love them and often they even had a sample photo posted for inspiration.![]()
Back in the 70s a few employees used to refer to those as Kodak Buena Vistas.
The Park was still young then, being only 17 years old when I started in 1972, and Kodak was everywhere. Two of the employees I worked with during my first week had been hired by Walt Disney himself, before his passing in 1966. I even personally met him once in Tomorrowland when I was 11 years old. Seven years later I started college and was working there for rent and food money.
Sadly, those Buena Vistas became just another unfortunate victim of the Kodak bankruptcy. See below for more details (and a cool little slideshow). The article notes that Kodak was one of only three remaining original sponsors present since Opening Day in 1955.
