Has anyone tried Foma films? Do they offer anything that Kodak B/W do not?

A very different "look" due to different spectral sensitivity. There is a lot of information on Foma films here. I use Foma 100 and like it a lot. BTW I also use Tmax 100, a great film, and very different from Foma 100 !

An analogy with chairs would be: Foma 100 is a nice heavy, strong and rustic chair made of fine wood; Tmax 100 is an extremely light and strong, state-of-the art chair done on carbon fiber.

I shot whatever 120 film I have left, on a trip to Wisconsin over the last four days. Five rolls of TMY-2, five rolls of HP5+, one roll of Tri-X, and one roll of FP4+. I intentionally depleted my inventory completely so that I could order fresh film to replenish again, as much of the film I had lying around was aging a bit.
Also, a roll of 35mm Tri-X and Ilford HP5+ each.

Fuji 160C in 120. Doing some macro work with the Hasselblad and 32mm extension tube out in the flower beds. The lupines and irises are looking pretty splendid right now, and yesterday evening it was so still I could make 1 second exposures without issue.
Going to try out Indie Film Lab to process and scan it. See how it goes. I've heard really good things about them.

No worries, C41 is dead easy at home as long as you have a water heater and a body thermometer.
Actually you can do far better at home than a recent lab with their machinery.

Actually, I've been working with a new paper, canson vidalon vellum, to make calotypes. Yesterday was my first attempt at making a "big" calotype with this paper. "Big" means the calotype was 8x11 inches, not ULF or anything like that. Yesterday's attempt is now drying between blotter board. This paper is challenging to work with because it curls when it touches liquid, but all that seemed to go pretty well. I ran into an unanticipated problem instead: the paper buckled and got wavy inside my paper holder, even though it was taped at all four corners and held firmly in place with a window mat.
I have a pretty good idea how I might avoid this happening next time.

I recently slitted some Kodak Vision 3 65mm film down to 61mm, rolled it on a medium format spool as 220 and cranked out about 21 shots on my Pentax 67ii.

Because of the sprockets, you lose about 4mm of width compared to normal 120, but you don't really miss it on a 6x7 frame.
