First I ruined a roll T-max 400, now, I'm planning on not ruining my Ilford Delta 400 Professional, Black and White Print Film, 120, shot in my Pentacon Six TL, during my trip to SF California!

Started doing my own C41 last week and I've shot 3 rolls of Ektar 100 through my RB67, all of which came out great. Borrowed a friends OM-1 today to try out some color 35mm and shot a roll of Kodak Ultramax 400 from CVS pharmacy, scanning those right now. So far so good.

I'm surprised you didn't shoot any colour neg.at your buddies wedding Stone that's what most couples want.

The choice to shoot at all was mine alone. I don't like CN in general and so I avoid it entirely. I have a hybrid process and it's purely a choice having to do with that. I find that scanning CN film is more difficult to get the colors right, the scanner isn't calibrated and I don't know how to do it, but transparency always scans like it looks to me in the slide. CN always looks dull and off color and the grain is poor in the CN scans.

I know this is an analogue site, but c'mon half of us scan so I'm just being honest about it.

I didn't really shoot much color to be honest I don't even know if I finished the roll, I think it was just color images of the property. I ended up shooting the wedding mostly on digital per their request, but saved the B&W images for the choice moments that I meant to have be special.

And I used 3 rolls (2 Vista+ 200 and 1 Fomapan 200) on the same streets. I forgot the rest of my films at home, otherwise I could have used more.

Congrats!

I really wish I could post the results over at FM, and share my work with fellow film users! I wanted to thank everyone, especially carstenw, for his early support, and encouragement! He put up with a lot of my naiveness and expalined in complete details, on the usage of my then owned, Rollei 6008 Pro, and the process of film, and its fear to some of we new users!

This year I am only using Ilford....HP5+ and Delta 100. I gave up on 35mm years ago so this is all 120 and 4x5...mostly 120 lately though.

I'm photographing all the big festivals of northern Japan at the moment, so have been shooting a lot of Tri-X and Provia 400X, since they are all night festivals. I did start with Tri-X and Ilford Delta 3200 (both at 1600), but found I didn't need the speed since the festivals are so well-lit. Unfortunately I didn't check my film before I left, so I can only shoot B&W in 120. That's not terrible, but my Bronica is awkward in low-light handheld situations. Luckily I can shoot at box speed, which is especially good for the Provia, which I'm mostly shooting in 35mm. I'll probably have shot about 30 rolls of film by week's end.
