I've been alternating between Ektar 100, Portra 160 and some expired Fuji NPS 160. I have a few remaining rolls of Reala for 35mm, which I might buy more of again, but lately I've been on a Kodak kick.
I'm shooting some indoor portraits with Fuji Pro 400H in my Canon EF with a mixture of window light and umbrella flash on a stand in the room to balance the shadows.
2 rolls of Arista Premium 100
3 rolls of Arista Premium 400
1 Roll of 120 Tri-X
1 Roll of 120 TMY-2
2 Rolls of 120 Portra 400
1 roll of Kodak Ultramax 400
1 Roll of Fuji NPS 160-Expired in 2007, (colors still great)
1 Roll of Moto-Photo 100 (Fuji, I think) , expired about 8 years ago
Just sold all of my remaining color film. Black and white only from now on; Kodak Tri-X (roll) and Foma 400 (5x7) for as long as it's available. So that will be the film I shot last for some considerable time.
Having tons of fun, 9 rolls in the last week...bought a new 35mm camera and needed to do some checking to ensure all was tip top:
5 rolls in tot of Walgreens house brand (200, 400, 800)
2 rolls of Cinerex - (its a neat 35mm x-ray film bought off APUG, ASA 50 or so, fun to mess around with)
1 roll of PanF+
1 roll of HP5+
Used plain old box speed for the 8x10, metered with a 30+ year old Sekonic L398 Studio Deluxe selenium incident, and developed per Ilford's recommended time/temp/agitation. The negatives came out perfect. Gotta' love Ilford.
I just developed my final roll of Kodak HIE, bought for a quid in Jessops in 2010, frozen for a year, thawed out when my freezer died and then refrigerated for a year, then spent a fortnight in my warm darkroom. I photographed buildings in my home town with my Yashica 635 in June/July 2012 using the panoramic setting. This was only the fourth time I've tried HIE. I exposed it through an orange filter and a meter set at EI100. The resulting negatives have a good dynamic range and most are acceptable, and I'm looking forward to printing them. That should give hope to those with some HIE still frozen - it's not as delicate as we thought.
I'm disappointed as there's a tramline right down the filmstrip! So I might have to turn to the dark side. Oh well, I'll try another roll.... oh wait I can't - Mama took my HIE away!
I don't know what film I shot. I was stupid enough to load something in my RB67 back and then forget what it was again. I've exposed some frames at ISO 100, I hope it's Reala.
I also have 10 rolls of Tri-X in 35mm waiting to be developed.
