When I shot E6 I also liked E200 very much. I think I still have a few rolls of 120 in the freezer.

Other than that I'm working almost exclusively with Ilford HP5+ these days, bar a few rolls of Pan-F+ in 120 for pinhole.
I've also shot a couple of rolls of Kodak MAX 400 C41 film to practice developing color neg film at home with. So far so good. Buying some Portra soon.

Yes - shoot lots of C41 - the modern films are so good!

Recently, I have been shooting Kodak Portra 160, 400 and Ektar, TMY, TMX and TX plus Fuji Neopan 400 and Superia 400, Ilford Delta 400 and FP4+.

My favourite? I just love the way that Fuji Superia 400 renders texture and colour.

Weird that the cheapest film gives the most pleasure.

Yep. Buy local (if possible), buy retail, keep the supply coming.

I'm on my fence about this, and I only say this because, in theory, if you instead purchased from the big box stores, then you could afford more film and be shooting more film, so it would actually increased Film Sales overall even if it killed local store sales this of course ultimately keep this up by coming a lot better than purchasing higher-priced film and less of it...

Either way keep buying and keep shooting

Well, the last two days I have shot some Fuji Super HR-T X-Ray film! These are my first 8x10 film negatives. (I'm ramping up to Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day this Sunday. So far, so good.

I sent off almost 40 rolls of Velvia/Provia to Praus, he called to say it was ready and being shipped.

But I won't be home for a week!!! Oh the torture!!!!

It's a years worth of E-6 for me.... I can't wait to see it!

Then again... I have to scan it all... Ugh....

Face it. There is no "Local" anymore. The local store does not care if you buy film or cigarettes or brillo pads from them.

Let's just buy fresh film and keep the manufacturers going.

Yea, true, my local pro lab told me they can't wait till they can't technically afford to run their lab so they can shut it down. And they haven't bought new stock in film in a year... I want to buy but it's almost twice what B&H charges so I can't justify it, and they don't sell 4x5 so...

I walked in my still open local Wolf Camera and was shocked to find they had Portra 400 in 120 on the shelf. I was ready for a second shock when I asked about the price. It was $1-2 less than B&H/Amazon. :-O. WTH. I was happy about that. I hope they didn't realize they actually had good prices and mark them up.

I have one local store that sells virtually every film that's still available. But the prices are steep. They say they make money on it, both from old school guys and lomo kids.

I buy smaller quantities there, but for larger quantities, I have to use the web or not buy at all.

Just killed my last roll of Panatomic-X and a few more frames of that last roll of Astia...

Though not developed yet, the last frame I took was of a tree with some names carved in it and a date... 95.... That's 1995... And the film expired in 1990 and it's 2014!!! Wow!

I wonder if those two kids are still together...

Currently working through a roll of Portra 400 in the F4. F5 has respooled 5222 in it, F3P has Pan F Plus, F2AS, a roll of Ektar 100, Nikomat FT2 has Ilford SFX 200 in it.

FT3 needs refoaming. F is in for repairs, and the other F2AS is bubble wrapped, waiting to be loaded into a box headed to the UK.

All while four or five asian tourists took videos of you loading your A12 back... Hey, whatever floats their boat.

he asks 'why does you M2 not have a lever?'
ans 'only the later M2s all had self timers'

his gfriend and her parents had perfect English, no trace of US accent.

Thankyou Silverprint!

Yeap, they're a nice company!
I had never been on their old premises, but last month I was twice on their new premises at London Road. Not difficult to find as the buses pass in front of them.
That reminds me that I need to start a new thread about Adox CHS II expiry dates: I couldn't find it on the canisters, nor did the Silverprint staff!

OH, and about this thread: I shoot last month more than 40 colour films, mainly Agfaphoto Vista+ in 200 and 400 ISO, Kodak Colorplus 200 and Fuji Extra 400.
