I'm supper excited about my photo related presents this year and I'm sure you are too, show them off! What'd you get!!???

I got...

2 boxes of 8x10 Velvia50 (in date)
2 boxes of 8x10 Acros100 (in date)

It's reported that fuji doesn't cut those in 8x10 anymore but that's false info, so good news!

So what'd you guys get???

(Title is "politically correct" hah!).

(PS. I didn't put this in the lounge because I wasn't sure if non-subscribers could access it, mods feel free to move if it's appropriate and remove this silly "for mods" message lol).

90mm lens for my RZ67 setup. Supplied with caps and lens hood. Very excited to be shooting in 6x7 format after shoot square for so long.

A couple 35mm film leader retrievers.

Other than that, I specifically said no photo-related gifts this Christmas because I've a good amount of 35mm and 120 film that I've not been able to use. My camera and developing equipment is inaccessible due to my mother's hoarding. We have some time off at work, so I hope to clean out the spare room enough to access my property. When I do, I will have to fill it with "dummy" boxes to make the room look full so she can't render it useless again. It's a technique I'd used successfully in the past, lol.

Time to move out!

That's scary. Sorry it's that way but at least you have a plan!

Nothing photograaphic; but nice gifts received. Spent the majority of my efforts trying to make sure the kids and elderly and infirmed of the family had a good time. I think it was a success.

From my wife I got a Canon 9000II scanner, so now I can scan my 120 negs (actually got it last month as an early present.

From myself, I got a 220 back for my RB67, a bunch of 220 Velvia, a bulk pack of PanF 50 (35mm), and a focus screen B for the RB. I'm a happy man.

This year it looks like a Mamiya Super 23 with 150mm f/5.6, a Yashica FX-2, and 20 rolls of Tri-X.

I give myself the best presents.

A coffee mug that looks like a Canon Zoom lens and a teeny tiny Canon DSLR that is really an 8 gb flash drive.

My wife never buys me real photo gear -- I do far too much of that by myself.

I'm happy to say that I bought myself nothing. I have a Nikkormat, a nice TLR, a Diana, lots of Tri-X, Shanghai and Arista film, some Microdol-X, D76 and Dektol developers, and quite a bit of paper. What else do I need?

No photo specific gifts this year, but I intend to negotiate for some extra photography/darkroom time.

Nothing...

But I used the Mamiya C330S TLR and 80mm lens to do some family pictures on Provia 100F.

.......another Pro box of 120 Velvia 50 as a gift, (after I bought myself 5 Pro boxes earlier and 5 boxes of 4x5 Velvia 50 now in route).
Also, I got the neat 5 roll 120 holder from Freestyle as a gift.......it pays to make up the wish list each year.....for the "holiday" of choice.

Everyone can access the Lounge. It is just the "Soap Box" that is "Subscribers Only" (and wisely difficult to find).

The only difference about the Lounge is it does get cleaned out/edited from time to time. So don't start a thread there if you want it to stay forever in the Archives.

Maybe I should start all my threads in the soap box then... :munch:
