I've had mostly good experiences with fomapan 200 in medium format, and I like the pictures I've gotten. I haven't seen the defects described, I don't think. But I can't speak for for their general QC, and I haven't shot so much that it couldn't be luck.

I think it's great in 35mm and sheet film format, but the QA is suspect in 120 roll film format. Some say this is solved, but I've gotten so used to people saying this and then the same problems popping up again that I've become numb to it. But again: great stuff in 35mm and sheet film!

It would be nice if our friends at Foma would let us know whether or not the "flaking emulsion" problem has been resolved or not. I would place an order today if I knew for sure, but as it is now I'll wait for a while.

original apx 100 - I have been depressed for years losing this!

I concur with other posters about Fomapan 100 and Rodinal 1+25 and 1+50.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Acros II yet. Rodinal 1+50 and Acros II are quite a wonderful combination.

.......I have what they call Agfa's original formula.

So....let the match up begin.....swipe left or swipe right.....Rodinal seeks it's perfect partner.....

Kodak Panatomic X, Ilford Pan F & FP4, Fomapan 100. Specially if stand developed.
