I was thinking no one else did. I mean with the latex gloves on and all, what else IS there to do? :surprised:

LOL

HC-110 at the right dilution and high enough temps = very short developing times. No time to do much of anything.

(Unless you're Blansky)

Now after watching Les do his magic in the darkroom, I may go back and start printing B&W but I'll still have someone else develop the film.

Regards, Art.
Why? Developing your own film is the easiest step of B&W processing.

I enjoy listening to Dr. Laura as she tactlessly tears her immoral and pathetic listeners new a$$holes.

Exercise! 12 years ago I had a serious accident, and was in a wheel chair for 2 years. I fought my way out, but was really fat. Now I'm not fat offically not even overweight. So I do exercises that I learned inphysical therapy.

I challenge any of you to hike with me!

In the background I have either music (70's) or the TV since I use my kitchen sink for developing film. Forces me to keep the dishes washed ahead of processing.

I listen to music on the radio and ... forgive me! I sing along.

Please don't hurt me!

If you look at my darkroom portrait, you know I have my tunes going. I can just put the tank in front of the 18in subwoofer and let it do the agitation. I'm a white boy, dancing looks like a frog in a blender. I also play the game of, can I remember my name without pulling out my drivers liscence. Nice thing about stand developing is you can leave the darkroom for a little while.

That's the beauty of the darkroom, you can't tell you're going blind!

Talk radio..or music depending on the mood. Just something in the background. Most of the time I don't really pay attention to it.

I watch the little glowing dot move around the circle that has the little lines and big numbers on it waiting for it to go BZZZZZZZ.

I'm easily entertained I guess.

Of course! That's why there's a CD player in my darkroom.

Thanks for the replies ! I guess thanks to the usual suspects  I found this one of those questions that you'd 'rather not know the answer to' :D .

When agitating I stare at my timer,
When washing I read Nietzsche,

Now that's pretty hardcore! Do you read Satre before bed and Kant at the laundry?

My digital timer was so boring to watch, I brought my gralab into the kitchen for film developing. It's very easy to zone out and stare at that thing in between inversions.

Oh, and I've been told I develop a protective stance near the sink, so no one dares do anything like dump a water glass while I'm developing. :D

Nothing. I forget to agitate if I do anything other than develop the film. I'm hell at multi-tasking.

The reflex is a lonely child

Men?Multitasking? Think I've heard of that FOCL  :D :surprised:  Anyway 80s compilations are GR8 for stuff like washing up/devving film. You can't beat boogying a few hours away to Duran or Spandau Ballet etc. Ta-na na na , ta na na nana, the reflex is a lonely child..............................

I try to develop film while listening to "Loveline" on the radio. Nothing encourages carefulness developing Efke 100 sheets like listening to other people's drug induced escapades.
