I just purchased a bottle of Agfa Neutrol Plus to experiment with. The developer color, out of the bottle, was a medium urine hue. I developed several prints and compared them to similar test prints souped with Ethol LPD. There was no significant difference in the blacks. However, the used Neutrol Plus developer turned bright yellow after developing about (5) 5x7s in a 1:10 concentrate/water ratio.
Is this a normal color for Neutrol or is the color a clear sign to toss the developer?
