I have a roll of Kodak Verichrome Pan type 116 that has an additional row of frame numbers that go to 16. Does anyone know of a camera that took 16 frames on type 116 film?
Earlier Kodak Verichrome (orthochromatic) and presumably later Verichrome Pan in the same format do not have the extra "half-frame" numbers.
Are there other examples of type 116 film from different manufacturers that have 16-frames numbers?
And why were they needed? Half-frame cameras taking 120 type film usually have two red windows offset by the half-frame length.
The Inos II was an improved version of the Inos produced in 1932. It was commonly a single format camera that produced 6x9 negatives. There is also rare a dual format version that used 116 film to produce 6.5x11 or with a reducing mask 5.5x6.5.
