On my most recent walks:

Today I took my Fuji Work Record and shot a roll of C200
Yesterday I took a Nikon LiteTouch AF and shot a roll of Superia 400
Two days ago I took a Kodak Ektar H35 and shot a roll of Arista 100
Three days ago I took a Kodak Ektar H35 and shot a roll of Fuji C200
Four days ago I took a Leica M7 and shot a roll of Fuji C200
Five days ago I took a Ricoh Suave FF1 and shot a roll of Fuji C200
Six days ago I took a Konica C35 EF3 Red and shot a roll of Fuji C200
Seven days ago I took a Leica M7 and shot a roll of Fuji C200

Not sure why people are complaining they can't find any Fuji C200?

When you asked way back on the first page, the answer was, just reach in the box and grab one.

For 35mm mostly Fujica ST 705w (or Praktica MTL5) with Zeiss 50mm f1.8 Ultron; Retina IIIc with Heligon; Contax iia with Voigtlander SC Skopar 21mm f4 or 50mm f2 Sonnar. Occasionally Exakta VX with 58mm f2 Biotar or Kodak Retina Reflex IV with multiple Schneider lenses. Recently, I am taking the Mamiya C330F out more, usually with the 80mm f2.8.

I have some pretty flash shoes in my wardrobe.😄

Useful. In California, Arizona and Old El Paso which I see regularly in my supermarket food shelves, you need good hot shoes. In fact the "hot" part is not an option in those areas

I have a lot of cameras. Sadly being an old lazy guy my camera of choice is mostly my iPhone 11. Sorry.

I take the Retina because I can get it out of my pocket easier than the iPhone. Don't be sorry, my perfectly fine Sony A7II spends all it's time on the copy stand so the iPhone 11 covers most of the digital work.

I have some Retinas too. Actually every model. But I am afraid to use one in case I break it! But I really should, they are lovely little cameras.

Just got back from a walk. Ok I was on my beach cruiser. Took a Leica M7, an Olympus Trip 35 and the incomparable Kodak Ektar H35.
Shot a roll through both the Trip and the Kodak. Only took a couple w the M7 but that was intentional as I wanted to use the other two first and had it as back up. Imagine that, having a Leica as back up for a plastic toy camera!

Six x of 10 something to photograph if even something criminal as I’ve had occasion in my neighborhood, sadly. But for popping in the car or a walk I use a iiif or (Canon) clone. The Canon F1’s are too heavy.

The new Cosina/Voigtlander 40mm f2.8

Another one to consider would be the 35mm 1.4 "Classic" - small, f1.4, good performer with a somewhat "vintage" look. I think a 40mm version exists too and it is even a couple hundred bucks cheaper than the 35mm.

I also recently bought a Voigtlander Ultron 40mm F2 SL2s in Nikon mount to replace my 35mm AFD which was defective (again, after already having been repaired 1-2 years ago). I have to say, I am impressed. It is an excellent walk-around lens. It also focuses down to around 25cm which even allows for "light macro" work. It seems that this lens will become permanently glued to my F3
