What camera are you lusting after, and why?

I have my mind set on a graflex 4x5 so i can do big in the outside world. My cambo 8x10 is too clumsy to log around. And I want a mamyia rb67 for some decent pics and the opportunity to go (caution blasphemus text will follow) digital. What elso do I want? My own darkroom but that something else.

I have a leica R6.2 an amazing camera, light, entirely mechanical, perfect handling..I never wanted to trade it for a m series and mostly use it with a 80 mm 1.4 and a 19 mm 2.8, you can't beat that and they come cheaper on ebay.de..The sound of the shutter is addictive and its perfect for fast/street slolen pictures.

From post #90 of this thread:
A Hasselblad SWC for all the obvious reasons.

A 4" x 5" camera. Maybe a Graflex Crown.

Steve

Now that I have a Hasselblad 903 SWC, I will have to decide whether the Crown Graphic, Speed Graphic or the Hasselblad Xpan is next on the list.

All these decisions to make.

If I am reincarnated, I would like to come back as independently wealthy instead of being so incredibly handsome.

I've really been wanting a Noblex recently. I have the Russian Horizon, and love the effect. And, of course, if I could get the 6x12 120 roll film Noblex ...

I need a few more lenses but, camera-wise, I have all the formats I want, except for pano work. An Xpan or a Bronica that can handle a 135 W film back would be nice.

Now I'm not a camera collector, but I also wouldn't mind having the two Hasselblad 500EL models that are still on the moon at Tranquility Base.

Now I'm not a camera collector, but I also wouldn't mind having the two Hasselblad 500EL models that are still on the moon at Tranquility Base.

Only one camera there.
That's why all the photos from Tranquility Base, except one, only show Aldrin.

Another Minolta XD11, in black this time, so I can put red lizard skin on it.

the only camera i am lusting for is a graflex 3A
i had one years ago, but sent it back to the seller because
i was unsure ... but now i realize that was crazy thinking and i wish i had one ...
graflex cameras are beautiful, i am lucky to have a couple of them,
but the 3A would be the crown jewel ... too bad i would have to then
scour the globe for empty spools, and then aerial film so i could actually
USE it ...

Well, the camera desires come and go, but I am sorry I missed out on a sweet Hasselblad 2000 FCW camera with a 110/2 lens. So, make the dream camera a Hasselblad that works with a 110/2.

Cameras, like women, seem to have hundreds of ways to entrap me.
Currently I'm lusting for a Crown Graphic and or any of the many fine 4x5 wooden field cameras.

i would do horrible disgusting things to get a bessa r3m and nokton 40mm f/1.2
horrible disgusting things.

I'd really love to have a Blackbird, fly in red. I want a TLR, and I like red. The reason for the BBF is that I can develop my own B/W film at home and I have a 35mm scanner, but I can't afford what it would take to get into 120 film. Heck, being on disability, I can't afford the BBF anyway....

I'm starting to get an itch for a Canon AE1. Not really sure why. I love the AT1, and I read it's the same camera, with shutter priority. Well then, why not?

I'm lusting after 2 cameras. One is a Pentax K-mount lens SLR, I don't have an SLR yet and because of my budget a k-mount SLR would allow me to get the lenses I want for a minimal cost. The other is for my lust to get into medium format outside of toy cameras, that camera is the YashicaMat 124 (with or without the G is ok by me)...

Me too. I'm lusting for a lightweight, waterproof, unshakeable in storm force winds, dust repelling 4x5 field camera. Wish me luck!

Murray

Try a speed graphic and a really good tripod

I've just found mine - (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Murray ..... I reckon you need a Walker Titan

Actually an MPP Mk VII or VIII, or a Linhof MK III onwards would be a far better option than a Speed or Crown Graphic, alternately a Super Graphic or Toyo. The Crown & Speeds have severe limitations with their poor range of movements compared to their competitors.

I am currently lusting after a 5x7 conversion for my Sinar...and some more lenses for my RZ.

I'm very happy with my six outfits (two digital, three film SLR, and one film 1/2 frame) especially the Canon T90 and Olympus PEN kits. I really don't need anything but I'm always wanting more good lenses.
