What Beseler Color Head is this? And what is this diffision disc?

Hello fellow silver traditionalists!!

I recently picked up a plethora of dkrm stuff and included was this beseler head, the seperate fan and hose....and this diffusion disc that had come loose.

A few questions....

What head is this?
For VC printing, mostly short exposures, is the cooling fan neccesary?

This diffiusion disc...Where does it go? Is it part of this head?

I don't know what's the disc is for but the head is the Beseler Dichro DG. It needs an external blower.
I have the blue version as can be seen in the picture here. I have disassembled the head and there is no such disc inside so I don't think it belongs to the head. With two 200W bulbs inside it's quite hot, I don't recommend running it without the blower.
