When I returned to film 8 years or so ago, the first cameras I bought were a couple of Nikkormats and a Zeiss Ikon 120 folder. After numerous diversions into other cameras and systems since then, I've concluded those fit my photographic aspirations perfectly. Since September I've compiled 8 photobooks from recent and old negatives, and foresee more of the same in 2017.

The Christmas and New Year season were spent shooting the ZI Nettar, a wonderfully reliable and compact camera.

I hope to put more film through my Rollei Sl66, I love this camera

I have Plaubel Makina IIIR Kit that I have hardly used, this camera needs to have some film put through it.

I dusted off my Black Pentax K2 over christmas and Put some Agfa APX100 through it, I haven"t used it for so long I forgot what a nice camera it is, I better dust off by Pentax KX as well and put in some film through it too.

Happy new Analogue year

Just after Christmas I used my new to me, never used by anyone since it was bought, Mamiya Universal Press.

Steve.

I try to always have a pocket camera (Minox 9mm, Minolta 16, Olympus xa...depending upon the size of the pocket) with me. Long awaiting return of my claedMedalist (now that 's mf!) but until then will, enjoy my almost like new Canon p (the poor man's IIIg) and Leica flexes (for some long lens stuff). Have some ideas for my Wista, but that must wait till spring. Also, when weather gets warmer, projects shooting 16mm movie.
Referring to an earlier remark, people shoot film for a variety of reasons and there is no need to scuttle any film size. I admire those who have the patience and energy to keep 127 cameras alive. I also admire those who restore the old wooden cameras.

I'm pretty settled on my gear, and won't be changing much. I may well shoot more C41 colour neg this year than in the recent past.

Otherwise, concentrating on Fomapan 100 and Ilford HP5+ in 35mm with some Kentmere 400 thrown into the mix, and maybe finding a use for my one remaining Efka KB25. A possible trip to Arkansas and Missouri over Easter could bring some interesting photographic situations, if it goes ahead.

Most will be shot in my trusty Praktica BX20S, some in an Agfa Super Silette....one or two rolls in the Konstruktor Lomo kit camera for giggles.

As always I will have a little medium format fun, probably with the venerable Zeiss-Ikon 520/16 and my frozen Fuji Reala.

What I am going to try to change, is that I intend to do more actual enlarging/printing this year. However that depends to a great extent on my mother, in who's house my enlarger resides.

For me it will be the same old gear as last year. No complaints about that, though. In terms of gear I got in a groove about a decade ago and really don't have reason to change. I'm just hoping that more time will be available!

The plan this year is to shoot more film than last year!

I've switched my medium format kit up, swapping a full Bronica ETR setup for a Pentax 67 kit. So I look forward to shooting plenty of bigger 6x7 frames.

To complement the big beast, I desired a sturdy 35mm street shooter. While I would have loved a Leica M4-2 and a 35mm 1.4, my budget wouldn't allow it. So I've got a Ricoh 500 on the way to me.

Continuing to shoot New F-1 (mostly), Mamiya 645 (sometimes), Horseman 4x5 (trying to do more of this).

New to me, planning to get good at: Widelux F6, Stereo-Realist.

Hoping to get back to the Cirkut #10, but I really need to build the darkroom first, which is an ongoing project that's recently moved up the priority list.

Hoping for a year filled with lots of 4x5!

No more cameras or lenses on my to-get list.

Shoot more film.

Inspired my some snaps our nine year old took of the dog using a wide angle action cam, I've decided to try using my Hasselblad 40mm lens more often. I've just shot two rolls of HP5 of him retrieving a ball at the leash free park. all just pre-focussed for distance, snapping and hoping. I would have been happy with just one shot of the ball mid-drop but managed to catch that twice in the first three shots.

Keep shooting with my OM2's, run a lot of film through my new (to me) RB67, work on composition. Mix up my RA4 and C41 chemistry and run those. See if the old Cibachrome I have is still any good.

I was planning to finish my roll of HP5 in my Praktica L-2 (I still have time to do so). I took a few shots just a few days ago

I have not done much 35mm work -- a couple weddings, photographing people's art (back when everything was judged with slides). I need to track down my Nikon N2000 for one of my sons who might take a photo class at university. I have a beat-up collection of Nikon lenses for it -- including nice 20mm/2.8 and 28mm/3.5 lenses, as long as he does not want to screw a filter on them! I also showed him a few of my TLR cameras he could borrow (Ciroflex, on one end and on the other end, the Mamiya 330 and its set of lenses).

So that is my only plan for the New Year and 35mm cameras. I want to work both myself and my 11x14 camera harder this year -- get to know the camera better...it is a little sloppy and needs close attention. I'll keep the 8x10 ready to go at any time with 5 or 6 loaded holders. I have an unused (by me) Norma 5x7 that I need to exercise and explore with. My ancient wood Eastman 5x7 is light, but as I get wobbly with age, I find I need steadier cameras. So I'll be thinking along the lines of a nice field 5x7 in the next few years if the Norma is too heavy for the field (long hikes, etc). For sentimental reasons, a Deardorff Special would be nice.

I am shooting film more and more, and seldom shooting digital.
Horseman 45HD will be the challenge this year, but I will continue with Pentax 67 and Canons for 35mm - FTb, EF and F-1.
Occasionally I take the Zorki 4 because it is so easy to use and takes up less space.
It is going to be a very good year.

Hi!

Learning more and more how to use my Chamonix F1.
Using more my Leica M3+Cron 50DR.
Doing more copies, much more indeed ... and contact of my 4x5 sheets!

Selling some of my 35mm cameras, most of them !

Cheers!
Antonio

2016 was good for me film-wise, shooting 40 rolls through 11 cameras. My goal for this year is to shoot a roll a week. So far im not off to a good start, trying to finish 2 rolls already loaded.

I am recovering from GAS
sold all digital cameras in 2016 - Sony A7, RX1,
plan to shoot using OM1, Minolta HTsi, XA2
don't plan to buy a new gear, only 1 lens for Minolta

want to start shoot in color if will be able to develop films by myself

My plans are to display more photos, both permanently and in rotation. Far too many prints I have are tucked away.

I could stand to have a GAS attack but I am not there now. I recently had an attack and bought a Hasselblad C 500mm lens and a Hasselblad 100mm CF lens when I thought that I did not want any more lenses. I have passed on the 30mm CF and 120mm CF lenses recently.

After dancing with the D* Devil for a while, I'm coming back to my first love. I'm rejiggering my EDC (Every Day Carry) to make a home for my Olympus XA to go with me everywhere. My only problem now is whether I'm going to shoot Tri-X or HP5+ pushed one stop (the XA meter only works for up to ASA 800... wish it went to 1250 or 1600).

I will be using what I have, because I'm convinced that buying more and more cameras isn't going to improve the quality of my work, because I realized many years ago by bitter experience that photographic creativity wasn't a problem that could be solved by throwing money at it.

This year I'm selling all my accumulated photographic equipment that I don't use anymore, I have already sold my Mamiya C330F outfit Canon A1 Billingham 335 bag and four lenses and several other odds and ends and I still have several other items of equipment to get rid of.
It still leaves me with four Canon F1's an Canon EF and aT90 which should keep me going for the foreseeable future.
