I will be having an exhibit of my wet plate collodion work at the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite. The opening reception is October 18, 4-6 pm and the show is up through November. For more info go here.

Thanks, guys. The opening was a good time. Lots of great feedback on the images and interest in the process. An original plate or two may be going into the adoption process . Here's a few snaps after the crowd went home:

Wow! I am impressed with the volume of work...I know how much work you do, but to see that much on the wall is really impressive. Way to go Kerik, you should be very proud...one heck of a show it looks like.

Kerik...

The show looks amazing...I'm curious if those are framed plates on the wall or prints made from them?

Thanks again. Pvia - the show includes both original plates and inkjet prints from scans of the plates.

The show looks very good, Kerik. Even the pottery goes well with the images and do not clash (plates above plates!LOL!)...though it would be nice to be able to go right up to your plates.

Glenn does a good job with the gallery.

Thanks, Vaughn. But, credit for this show goes to Sara. She made the final choices from the work I sent her, then arranged and hung the whole thing by herself.

Kerik, I was in Yosemite on Monday of this week and went to the gallery to see what was hung. What a great treat to see your work in the flesh. If anyone is thinking about going to Yosemite do not miss this. Kerik's work is amazing.
