Experience the many photographic delights of West Cornwall over the weekend of 23/24/25 of March, 2012.
I know this is a bit short-notice but a few of us on another analogue forum are doing a repeat of the successful photographic visit to this area which happened about three years ago, which I arranged through APUG. In fact a few who were there then will be coming along this time.
The format for the weekend will be the same as before informal and to do some photography. There will be three days of landscape / seascape photography, with plenty of time for socialising in the evenings. Hopefully we shall have another impromptu print sharing session at the Queens Hotel so please bring along a few prints if you can.
The idea is to visit some known photo haunts that will provided plenty of photographic opportunities as well as some not so well known ones, and to accommodate the wishes of the group. The locations will be decided on the day and will be chosen with the weather / tides in mind. But if you would prefer to do your own thing that will not be a problem.
The walking to the locations will be light to moderate and the emphasis will be on maximising image making opportunities. As the weather in West Cornwall can be unpredictable outdoor clothing and walking boots / shoes are recommended.
This will happen over the weekend of the 23/24/25 of March, 2012.
We shall again be using the Queens Hotel, Penzance, as our base. The Queens also has a large free car park.
The rate currently quoted for single en-suite accommodation is £64.00 per night, per person, which includes a full- English breakfast.
Slightly cheaper rates may be able to be found by booking through www.travelrepublic.co.uk or similar hotel web site accommodation providers.

Hopefully the weather will be better this time - when we last met in Cornwall it was dire !
