Weird Mamiya Zoom 65 - 100mm

Some kind of prototype? Electric contacts, so 1990s or later. Looks like a bayonet hood mount. Any ideas what this is?

I'm guessing that someone has modified this for something like a catalogue shoot camera or school portrait camera or some other commercial/industrial application.
