Just shot & processed a roll of Neopan 400, no idea how old it is but as I haven't bought any 35mm B&W film for 7 or 8 years so it's not fresh. As for storage I've no idea I found it in my garage last week (I moved house last year), it was in it's plastic container.

When I processed the film I placed the leader in the fixer to check the clearing time and noticed the emulsion frilling off the film base, I expected the film to be the same. Strangely the film itself was fine except for slightly greater than normal base fog, which I expected anyway, but the rest of the leader was a light grey and the emulsion was frilling very severely, this is the bit of film outside the cassette when packaged. The bit of film exposed loading the camera developed as expected.
